Prompt: Venari sighed as she sat in the cafe, her brown eyes stared absently out the window at the lovely sunny day. She hadn’t been able to write anything down, but had managed to cover the current page in doodles. The moon, partially covered by a whispy cloud, small snowflakes drifting down the margins, and near the bottom left hand side a thicker cloud colored in gray with her pencil and a bolt of lightning coming out of it.
The young Eevee knew she needed to make plans for her future. She was working part time at the local daycare center, and she loved it and the kids, but wasn’t positive she wanted to spend her life working with kids. She thought about other jobs, and had a reason to shoot down each and every one of them. Somehow all her friends knew exactly what they wanted to do, where they wanted to go, but her…? She felt like she was stuck in quicksand, with no way to move forward and every time she tried she just sank more. ‘How does everyone just know what they want?’ She wondered, her pencil idly drawing swirls in the middle of her page. How could they be so sure nothing would change? What if she made a choice and in a year or two realized it was the wrong one? She was pulled out of her train of though by the barista bringing over another drink. 
“Oh! Thank you so much!” Venari broke in to a bright smile, her thoughts thankfully pulled away from the stressful path they were taking.
