Breeding Rules

General Rules:
All Breedings with more then one owner need a breeding agreement to go with it. You do not need one if you are just breeding two of your own.
All dropped breeding's will need a breeding claim to go with it.
Breeding slots will open at colorists discursion. Some colorists will have specifics they like to do and don't do.
Some artists may stream breedings if you allow them to in your application
Throwbacks are a thing, if you desire the parents of your two to have some influence in the breeding, you may also opt out to doing so.
As long as a pet has a census page/cert they can breed.
Parents may not breed again until their offspring is at the Young adult stage (For dragons) or the Adult stage (For Faun).
Fodder can breed again immediately.


Dragon Rules:
Adult breedings can yield 2-6 offspring.
Young adults can breed only once, yielding 1-2 offspring - after that they must grow to an adult before they can breed again.
Young Adults can only breed with young adults and adults can only breed with adults.
Dragons can only breed a total of 4 times in their lifetimes.
If two dragons are different elements the offspring will have a small chance of being a dual type dragon.
When two dragons breed they come together and infuse rocks with their magic, over time these rocks will become the dragons eggs which will then hatch into their offspring.
Eggs will hatch after 5-7 days or if a breeding claim has been posted for the litter
Hatchlings take 7 Days to grow - Hatchlings will not grow until a claim posted
Children take 14 Days to grow

Faun Rules:
Fauns can only breed with other fauns - as their magic is not compatible with dragons
Fauns can only breed 3 times in their lifetime
Fauns yield 1-3 offspring
Babies take 1 week to grow - Will not grow until a claim is posted
Kids take 3 weeks to grow

Fodder Rules:
Any two fodder species can breed together
Fodder have unlimited amount of breeding slots.
Fodder produce 1-3 offspring per litter
