[CLOSED] A Voice in the Dark

Where there is SunClan's warm light, there are also the shadows of the Dark Forest. Deceased Clan cats who broke the Warrior code find themselves exiled to this cold, dead forest, cursed with empty, aching stomachs and tired paws. However, unlike ghosts, Dark Forest cats possess an ability to influence the world of the living. They can walk into the dreams of special cats and endeavor to push these felines towards their own goals from beyond the grave. Ghosts who find themselves resenting the limbo-like state of the Wild Wood, cut off from the rest of the world, will sometimes surrender themselves to the Dark Forest in hopes of talking to past loved ones again, but it's a one way street - Ghosts who become Dark Forest cats can never return again to the Wild Wood; they will be stuck in this cursed land forever.

The Dark Forest cat above is a former MountainClan cat. In order to enter to win them, you must fill out the form below and tell me a story about them. What rule from the Warrior Code did they break? Was it an act of malice, or are they able to justify their actions? Do they have any desire to influence or change the goings on of the living cats - some cunning agenda that needs to be enacted? I want to hear it all!

The Broken Rule:

The Crime: Shadowclaw was not a nice cat. No, one would definitely describe them as evil and manipulative. Shadowclaw liked to take resources from others, especially food because well a cat's got to eat and he would make sure he had enough to keep his belly full as much as possible. Listening to the clan leader? Maybe to a point, so long as it benefitted him, but if it didn't he would twist the words to fit his needs. Killing? Leave no survivors if at all possible. If you can't defend yourself well enough then make room for the stronger cats. Ridding the world of weak cats who bother him was easy when he was so much stronger.
Future Plots: Shadowclaw has a lot of malice towards the living and those with good hearts. He wants to try and turn as many cats dark as he possibly can. He sees himself as a savior of the weak by ridding the world of them, leave everything for those who can cut their path and take no prisoners.

The Crime: Speckledstream was jealous. She felt trapped. She watched as her crush started to fall for her sister, and watched as her sister bathed in the attention. Speckledstream would not show any jealousy on the outside though. She loved her sister, and just wanted her to be happy too, but not with her tom. As the moons passed, her sister was pregnant and Speckledstream would tend to her sister's needs. Anything she wanted, she would get.

Once the kits arrived, Speckledstream never left the kits' sides. She was working to be the best warrior, and the best aunt. That was, until her sister confessed that she never loved him and that the kits were just an accident that they never wanted. Hearing this, and hearing how it could have been Speckledstream being a mother, her heart changed. One evening, when the clan was settling down and patrols were sent out, the nursery was left to Speckledstream and the kits. She snuck into the medicine cat den and found the herbs she was looking for.

She gave the kits treats before, and she treated it like how she always did. "Who's hungry for a snack?" she asked, dropping a berry in front of each kit. "Look at what I found!"

Speckledstream was not heartless though. She waited until each kits' breath stopped before giving them a small burial. The patrols were about to return, and she knew what she had to do. Speckledstream ran away from the camp and deep into Mountainclan territory. She was now a fugitive, but at least the kits did not have to grow up with parents who did not want them.

Eventually, Mountainclan found her and she was sentenced to be banished from the territory. She does not ever regret her actions.

Future Plots:

Speckledstream LOVES kits. She wants to protect them and tries to prevent the Dark Forest from allowing them in. However, she will try to mother kits and apprentices, and live the life that she never got to experience while living.
