Pronoun Choice: He/Him
Age: Thirty
Home Region: Paldea
Character Overview: Incredibly easy-going, Connie hasn't "achieved much in life" according to his parents. He went through school with very average grades, just barely passing in everything, including anything related to Poke'mon. It was clear he was smart, he just didn't always put all of himself into something. That is true to this day. He can be easily convinced to try or do stupid things, with little to no care, and has gotten himself into trouble on more than one occasion. When he isn't around his trouble causing friends, he's perfectly content just "chillaxin" and playing one of his many instruments, practicing tattooing, or working out. Sometimes he will even meet with his more chill friends for drinks at a local cafe.

Three Strengths:
Low-key: Everything Connie does is easy-going and of low intensity. He is very relaxed about life, even though he enjoys experiencing new things. There's just no rush to him.
Loyal: It takes time to gain Connie's trust and prove yourself, but once you've shown him how reliable and competent you can be, especially when it comes to working... He'll support you at everything you do.
Organized: Contrary to popular belief, Connie actually has really great time management skills, and plans out his days to make sure he can do everything that needs to be done. Any farm work is done before anything, and once he's certain he has that covered, only then will he allow himself to relax..
Three Flaws:
Impulsive: Outside of work, Connie has little to no forethought about things that one would normally consider dangerous. You got a weird mushroom you've never seen before? Connie will eat it and see if it's dangerous or not.
Stubborn: Once his mind is set to something, there is very little one can do to get him off track. A job needs doing? He won't wait around for the right time, he's out there in the crappy weather patching up the roof from leaks instead of waiting until the rain is over.
Tactless: He has very little knowledge in dealing with others. Connie has always been very blunt and to the point, and doesn't sugar coat his words. He isn't mean, he just doesn't always think before he speaks, and has a tendency to get off on the wrong foot during first impressions.
History:
- Born to a well off family of lawyers in Paldea
- Has an older brother and an older sister (older than him by 10 and 12 years)
- Was a very unruly child growing up, hating having so many restrictions on him and finding it a bit easier to get away with things since his parents were so focused on his older siblings
- not neglected, but quite often forgotten about as his age gap left him in the care of nannies more often than not
- As he grew older, he would often sneak out to go to arcades and parks with friends, much to his nanny's dismay
- Parents finally began to pay a bit more attention to him as he got into high school, though it was far too late for them to flex much influence over him
- Already on the verge of being a delinquent, and had broken several different bones in the pursuit of "fun shit"
- Parents started trying to crack down on him, as his older siblings had been groomed perfectly to enter the judicial world - the eldest his sister who was going to be a judge, and the middle his older brother who was going to be a lawyer
- Connie wanted nothing to do with their restrictions and would sneak out even more often, causing quite a few scandals for his family due to his actions
- Eventually, when he was 17, he was disowned from his family and sent away to be with distant relatives on the other side of the region
- Lived his following years more or less the same, with him calming down over time
- Less restrictions meant less impulsiveness to break rules
- Began to help around the house with his new guardians, and did various things to keep himself occupied as he had no friends to begin with
- Took up guitar, got into art, did odd jobs for pocket cash
- His guardians tended a farm, so Connie learned how to farm, as well as do the heavy lifting, and eventually took the required exam to be able to get a Poke'mon companion
- Had his license by the time he was 19, and started gathering Poke'mon to help on the farm
- Got a pair of Mudsdale to help plow, a small collection of Lechonk to grow into Oinkologne for meat, several Skiddo to raise to Gogoat for milk / cheese production, a hive of Combee with a Vespiquen to produce honey, several Mareep for wool production, and a pack of Daschbun to watch over the flocks and vegetable production
- Also started to set up to buy some other Poke'mon to help with irrigation and the like, but they haven't been bought yet
- The Lechonk, Skiddo, Combee and Mareep were all to produce things for the family
- Surprised his guardians with his big heart and want to help, as he never took these Poke'mon as a partner, and only brought them to the farm to help
- Surprised them further by enlisting local teens to help with the farm, most of whom actually enjoyed the work
- He has lived a relatively normal and laid back life until recently, when his guardians urged him to break off from home and actually experience more of the world
