You choose to tackle the heavy door, and literally.
You end up pulling something trying to ram this door open, but once you manage to injure yourself, you spot it: a switch.
Oh.
A quick flip, and the door slides seamlessly into the wall, so with a minor inconvenience of a cramp, you get to take in what's on the other side.
It seems like this is where the air for the entire facility is generated, as a giant mechanism takes up the left wall. In front of you, ventilation shafts run the length of the ceiling, with a few closer to floor level.
The whole thing is running smoothly, but you can't help but notice a couple or the vents don't seem to be actually part of the rest of the system...
The vent to your right is just eerily silent and pony-sized, you could crawl thru it if you felt so inclined, and it does seem to have a soft glow coming from within?
The one in front of you at floor level is a bit smaller, but you swear you can hear something crawling around in there...
Or if the whole thing is just a bit much, you could leave the room.
Where will you go?

B0wz3r finally felt a little bit of intreague as he entered the room. He would never admit to anyone that bronze had lost and brains had won as he shook out the cramp of his back leg. But at least it had finally got him somewhere interesting. He was drawn to the larger vent, the glow ominous. But instead he chose the smaller of the vents. He supposed if there was an intruder, it was his job to find them and kick them out. He just hoped his big shell wouldn't get trapped in the vent...

The skittering noises in the vent stays a constant annoyance as you somehow squeeze into the small space, and you're concerned that it's not going to lead anywhere and it never seems to get any louder the further you crawl in... until you round a corner and it's a figure you're staring down in the limited space, smiling at you.

Oh my, intruder spotted!
Do you want to confront them? Or maybe you'd rather try to scoot back the way you came?

B0wz3r yelped out a "Hey!" as he came across the intruder he thought he heard. Well, there was no way he could ever imagine such an intruder as thise. He had wanted to lounge around and eat pizza as he watched TV, but dang it he was here to do a job and he would do it. Time to confront this intruder!

YOU DID IT! The figure makes a grab for you, and you back out of the way just in time, and the pony wedges themself firmly in the vent.
And whines. You blink a few times, and they sit up to look you in the eyes, "I think... I'm stuck.. but it's just a game."
Oh. Huh. You help them out of the vent with you, dust off some dirt, and make a face when realization hits.
This whole thing was an elaborate experiment, and as the pony in front of you hands you a 30% off coupon for their next haunted attraction, and you can't help but feel a little suckered into it.
Eh, at least they still promised to pay you for the night...

CONGRATS! You've bested the scare actor and they will follow you home, a completely normal thing for strangers to do! Yippee!
You can head over to the 'Game Over' thread and make a post there for a chance at ponies from other floors & a freebie companion.
