It's been enough days that Lang felt it was a good time to go out again and try. First things first, he'd try seeing what the coastline had to offer. Every time he'd stuck to it, he'd had good luck.

Along the coast, there was a rather deep crag and Lang could see some flowers growing along the edge. Torchic was more likely to get hurt, so Lang rolled up his sleeves and got closer. If he was careful, he could snag some to bring back.

Lang got a bit too close to the edge and ended up slipping. He didn't quite fall in the crag, but he scraped himself up pretty bad. Cursing as he righted himself, Lang decided they weren't worth it and moved on.

Lang sighed and pulled out his pokedex as it beeped at him. There was a storm? Just great, that would be his luck. Hopefully he could get back to town before it stormed. Even though. . it looked clear?

Lang slowly clambered up one of the hills that edged the coast. It would be a good vantage point to spot any differences in the grasslands. Not to mention, if there were pokemon foraging along the edge of the beach, he'd be able to spot them from here.

As Lang looked around, he spotted some of the clusters of flowers along the edge of the hill. Collecting a handful, he stored them in his bag and then continued down the hill. If he was correct, there it should be worth his while to head this way into the grasslands.

You've accidentally stumbled across a small group of baby pokémon hidden in a burrow! They're sleeping peacefully now - maybe you can get close to them before their parent returns? Optional. You find, hidden among the weeds, a small patch of bushes that you quickly recognize as wild oran berries! There aren't many ripe fruits, as it's probably quite popular among the local pokémon, but it's also a comforting sight to find something so familiar in such a wild place. You do manage to find a couple of edible berries. Heal 1HP for up to two pokémon and/or yourself.

The longer he walked with nothing popping out to attack him the better Lang felt. Spotting a small berry patch, he was pleased to see the familiar sight of Oran berries. He grabbed a couple to share with Torchic, but most of them weren't ripe and so he left them for other wild pokemon.
