Kennedy stretched, feeling the warm sun and getting a feel for the landscape outside of the makeshift walls that had been constructed to keep them safe. It looked to be flat grasslands and coast land. She kept an eye on Sunny; as the eevee poked at some grass in curiosity, lowering herself into a bend to stretch out the last of her leg muscles before they would get going.

"Come on, Sunny. Keep close." She called, stepping out in the wilds, making sure to keep the eevee in eye sight. If needed Kennedy would return the young pokemon to its ball, but she wanted to let the youngster explore a bit.

"Well, Lan is never going to let me live this down." Kennedy sighed, gently tugging at her entrapped pant leg, looking at the rather vicious looking briars hidden by the tall grass. Sunny twined between her legs to get a good look at them, the eevee hissing and giving a displeased bark.

"Yeah, move back. Don't need you getting tangled up in this mess."

Kennedy brushed off her leg, checking the scratches. Not terrible. A bit worst then she would have wanted but it had come up on her unawares. She let Sunny sniff at her wound, but gently picked him up and away from them when he went to lick it. "Nope. Thank you but, lets not." She snuggled him and then let him down when he squirmed, not wanting to be held.

Kennedy paused, looking up to watch the flock of bird pokemon perhaps? Flying overhead. Wingulls maybe? Pidgey? "What do you think?" She questioned, motioning to the group flying away and who knows where. Perhaps they were ladyba. They were just specks in the sky and voices just a quiet chimes.

"Don't let anyone know this, but getting lost is just how you learn things. Mostly because if you know certain things you can always find your way back. Now. Sunny, can you pick up where my scent was last? And we will go that way." Backtracking was a time honor traditions of fixing what ever problem had happened.

Sunny ears perked and Kennedy watched the small eevee search for the scent.
