That battle was scary for Wren a bit. She checked over Tea leaf and while the Pokémon was scuffed a bit didn't seem to be too badly off. she looked at the pidove in the research ball. That was a touch match for her little Tea leaf. She wondered for a moment if she could keep it but wasn't sure if it would be better to send it in for local fauna research. A part of her missed her old bird partner Pokémon. Sighing she moved onwards

You come across a dip in the terrain near the meeting of sand and grass, and it doesn't take long to realize it's leading down into a small cove and the start of a sea cave! While it's not very large yet, you can see the surf is slowly eroding the space - some day, this might be a lovely lagoon, though for now it's just a much needed shady spot. The glint of creatures under the water catches your eye, but the attention drift causes you to notice something else nearby. Growing on several rocks poking out of the water are some odd little fungi. You might be able to get them and bring them back if you try. Optional. On success, +1 Weird Mushroom?. On failure, get bitten by a hungry pokémon and -1 HP for whoever attempted.

Looking at the glinting she considered trying for the fungi. She knew that her Pokémon partners would try and help her if she let them but she wasn't willing to risk Tea leaf who just had a battle and Herb while cute likely wouldn't be able to grab it no matter how hard the little thing tried. she slowly reached out snag the fungi

Nursing her hand from a wild Pokémon reaching out to nip at her she rubbed her hand and stretched it a few times. yeah trying for that again would be a mistake right? Yeah she should move on. she looked at the fungus still sorely tempted to try and get one.
