"Poor puff ball." Lan tugged out his journal, doodling a quick sketch before reaching over to take some of the weird looking mushrooms. He dusted the cap, taking a print of the gills and flipped back and forth between the pages. "Looks the same."

"Maybe I should get that checked." Lan mused looking over the device as it beeped at him, beep, beep, it was getting a bit annoying. "What do you think Christmas?" he asked.

Lan attempted to walk over the slick rocks and hissed, loosing his balance and landed in the water. He got up and shook himself. Oww. "What are you?" He grumbled, looking down at the water as the beast disappeared after biting him.

"Laugh it up Christmas." He said, watching the bulbasaur wheeze on the shore line. He walked back and flopped next to the bulbasaur, reaching over to pet her. "Guess we should be going home."
