There had been a brief debate between whether the weedle should be one of Eulalio's new friends, or whether they should catch it to turn in for research. They came to the decision that if they were gonna bring home a new bug friend, they wanted maybe a scatterbug. They'd heard about those being found in these parts and they thought they were really cute. Plus then Sundrop would have a pretty flying friend.

As Eulalio was looking around in the hopes that maybe there were more pokemon around, Sundrop left their hair. Eulalio laughed when they again brought back a bunch of flowers. Seems like the lefmew really liked the flower crowns that Eulalio had made for them the past few times they'd been out. Tucking some away into their satchel, Eulalio used the rest to make the lefmew a small crown which they proudly wore for their time out.

The briar patch was surprisingly well hidden. Eulalio hadn't realized it was an entire patch and not just a little bit as they struggled to get to the other side until they were already in the middle of it. Unfortunately it seemed no matter which way Eulalio went they just got more tangled up. It hurt more than a little and by the time Eulalio got themself out they were tired and hurt and ready to head back. After a break they'd be more than willing to head back out tomorrow, but they needed to get patched up and take a breather before they tried to get Sundrop the friend they deserved.
