After their encounter with the Lefmew, Pip and Little Guy start moving up hill, still close enough to the water that they're able to enjoy the nice view. The totodile toddled a little closer to the cliff edge than Pip appreciated, so they moved closer as well in case they needed to pull him back, but in doing so they caught sight of something growing along the edge. Carefully, the pull out one of their sample bags and the tongs, placing a few of the interesting flowers carefully inside to return to the research teams.

Once again Pip spotted another pokemon in the distance. It appeared to be a fairly normal sentret... after the success of the last battle (disastrous attempts at catching it aside), Pip was feeling inspired to try again. They look down at Little Guy and give them a treat for being so attentive. "What do you say, think we can sneak up on this one too?"
Pip turned their attention back to the wild pokemon, moving forward carefully so as not to alert it to their presence... SNAP! Pip looks down to see that they had apparently found the only branch around. They groaned, looked up, and sure enough the Sentret had snapped it's attention over to the wandering pair.

If Pip had seen the other trainer before she had seen them, they probably would have avoided her, but here they were. It turned out not to be so bad though, she was friendly and she shared her snacks! In the end they exchanged contact info, in case they wanted to do some exploration together in the future. Safety in numbers, and all that.
