A flier caught your attention. Or perhaps it was a digital advertisement on a tourist attraction. Either way you heard about this ‘renaissance fair’ and took a train out the middle of nowhere and then there was wagon ride down into a village called Meadowfield. It’s pretty clear they are running heavily into this theme already as the wagon driver is cloaked and not saying too much. You could almost nap where it not for jostling on the uneven road. Past the fields of corn there was an interesting break while the wagon was boarded onto a float raft to cross a large river. A teal flightless/pegaus hybrid keeps a close eye on everyone while they help the float cross the river. The village itself seems like it got a makeover not all that long ago as you pass by a dinner that looks like it got a paint job but based on how the shape you know it’s likely one of those old dinners you could walk past and never miss. Crap you hope the Renaissance faire is better than this village is. Still a small part of you is excited for this. How could you not be? The wagon stopped at tiny little building that turns out is a police station honestly though it looks more like the town bulletin board outside of it and very little foot traffic actually gets into the building. Next door is an inn and there is a small smattering of shops in the town. There is a sign on the bulletin board pointing south of town saying the renaissance faire is in the woods and all you have to do is follow the road south of town. The wagon transport has to go back for more ponies from the train and will available later today if you want to ride back to the train. Looks like there are several ponies already gathered in a group and headed down the road. A few have broken off and headed to the dinner or other parts of the small village. Seems some ponies decided modern shopping and eating even in a small town would be better done before heading to the faire. Next to you is a large green and brown ghoulie who gives you a comfortable smile as she restocks the fliers right in front of the bulletin board. “Hello there. Welcome to Meadowfield. I figure you are here for the.” She checks the flier clearly not used to the term she is reading. “Renaissance faire. It’s to the south just follow that group and you’ll end up right at the gate. If you have any questions. I’m Neia with security come find anyone with this diamond broach if you have any concerns or end up lost. I'm sure I'll see you around the area.” She holds up a brightly colored sunny yellow diamond broach with security that has been printed on it. With that she dips back into the police station to talk to a tan colored unicorn who is sitting looking half asleep at a desk. Yeah lets not end up dealing with security unless you have to. It might end up game over depending on the situation.

A ) Head to the fair to the south? I mean that’s why you are here after all. Get on with it!

B ) Explore the town? No harm in doing a bit of shopping first. Likely cheaper food in town then at the faire after all. Please roll 1d100

C) Get back on the wagon to head back to the train station? I mean if you wanna leave town that is always an option….. but we’d be sad to see you go…

There was a time when Labrynna thought she wouldn't attend this years faire. She had so much to do, too much to plan, and an awful lot of nothing to speak for. If she was a responsible pony she might have stayed home, but a responsible pony she was not.

Nor was she very good at her spending, evident when her wallet came out the very second they were left unattended.

🐾"When it hurts to look back, and your scared to look ahead,

Choices Choices. Emily thought to herself. She obviously wasnt heading back to the train. To much here to explore and do. But now was the choice to go down into the fair or have a snack. No matter what she did she was whole heartedly going to the fair but a fair price snack was more expensive then a little town's snack. Logically one should spend the least amount of money on the snack that way any goodies that catches the eye from the fair can be snagged and taken home to their collection.

B) explore the town

you can look beside you, and your best friend will be there."🐾

Vivi decided to explore the towna bit before heading to the faire. She didn't plan to spend any money but it never hurt to look around and see. Who knows, if she didn't blow through all her spending money there maybe she would stop by the town again afterwards and buy some stuff so it made sense to look around now to see if there would be anything worth circling back for later.

The wagon ride to the village Meadowfield wasn't the most pleasant ride due tot he jostling on the uneven road, never mind the river crossing. That portion of the ride was a little nerve wracking even though it was uneventful, which was honestly Poppet's preferred choice for any river crossing. She exited the wagon moving off to the side so others could pass in order to make sure her orb was still with her and that her sheet and mask were in place. She never left home without the three items, one of them a matter of life and death whereas the other two were more for a sense of security.

Looking around she saw that they had stopped next to a building that was apparently the police station with a town bulletin board. There was an awakened Ghoulie restocking some flyers who paused to smile at the visitors. "H-Hello Neia. Thank you for the welcome and directions." She made note of the diamond broach and that she really didn't want to end up lost or in trouble with security. She turned around to look more at the town proper and saw that many of the ponies that had been on the wagon with her were already dispersing. It looked like many of them were moving to explore the town, perhaps to do a bit of shopping. While it seemed like wares or food would be cheaper here than at the fair she decided to not explore or shop here. After all she saved up a fair amount of bits just for this and she wanted to buy stuff from the renaissance fair. If she had money left over then she could check out the town. Moving in the direction Neia had mention, Poppet joined the group heading south to the fair. (wc: 302; just to make it easier to track for AP)

Persephone wandered for a bit as she pondered her options- sure, she was excited to go to the fair, but It's also nice to explore something never seen before; that's what she wanted most of all: to see and explore new things. She took the information to mind and would make sure she remembered to go to them if needed as she began her way into town.

A.) Head South towards the faire

Athena looks around the little town for a moment considering her options. Should she browse the town or head to the faire? After all they did come here specifically for the fair itself. Weighing the pros and cons she decides to make her way south along the path that was pointed out where the faire is. After all she has a destination in mind. Traversing on hoof instead of wagon would do her good as the jostling really did make it quite uncomfortable!.
