Education: Level of formal education is unknown, though it can be said that they are quite intelligent. Personal training with the swords was extensive, perhaps more so than any other form of education. Real life experience with the wolf pack lead to many mistakes that were made.
Job: Meru is the owner of Mellow Mallow Marsh Apartments. It was their brainchild, the goal being to offer comfortable living situations for all citz. Financial background checks are not made because everyone should have a roof over their heads. Yes it's probably a money pit and no one is quite sure where the money comes from. For that matter, no one is quite sure what (if any) job Meru may have beyond the apartments.

Hobbies: Hobbies include practicing with swords (yes it's almost an obsession). One aspect of their sword training was flower arranging, which she became quite good at after a rough start. He loves running wild with his wolf pack. She also likes roller-derby, hockey and wizards chess. They will even play other forms of chess with Mr. Lung, since he has a chess table in his office. Cartoons are ultimately his favorite media to watch, making comedic references to obscure movies and animation whether anybody's listening or not. She loves taking in down-on-their-luck citz because she is geared toward fighting for the underdog. It is an ingrained mission.

Meru Raban appeared in the wild lands of Animalia about a decade ago. Otherwise, no one really knows from where they come. Having survived several years, they found the city life to be more rewarding in other ways. It was then that they initiated the plan for apartments; they have been open for about five years now.

Later on he took some business and accounting courses for the purposes of caring for the apartment complex more efficiently. Job: The caretaker of MMM Apartments, Mr. Lung had needed a place to stay and a job. He knew Meru from out of town and she provided both for him. Since he accepted the title of Caretaker, he also accepted that this would be his home for some time to come. Hobbies: To say he loves potatoes would be an understatement. He will sing for potatoes. He does love tactical games like Chinese checkers (which uses marbles), checkers, chess, and Tri-D chess. He shows interest at new games and will play anything once.
Hopes and Dreams: Someday he would really love to learn to tango, but it takes two and he would be too embarrassed to ask anyone he knows. Maybe he will just go himself and dance with a random partner. But going there would be a big challenge. What if he saw someone he knows? Better just to work on the apartments. There's a leaky faucet in one of the rooms.

Mr. Lung comes from the countryside. He has a strong work ethic that was instilled into him from his parents and grandparents. His father's side of the family are great singers. He followed a cousin into the city to try to make it as a singer. He had no idea how the industry worked and was antisocial to boot; as a result he failed miserably, even though he and his cousin were a great duo. His cousin is semi-famous now.
His current situation is a far cry from the life he tried to "make it big." Unable to face the shame of coming back home, Mr. Lung was homeless for a time before running into an old acquaintence, Meru Raban. They told him of their apartment project for any and all citz, and how they needed a caretaker for it. Since he needed both a home and a job he agreed to come on a temporary basis. But he stayed, as the project meant more and more to him personally.

Hobbies: Helping out a friend is a great honor to her. She feels that friends are as good as family and if she can help in some way she will. That is not to say that she wouldn't do the same for family, either. Interior decorating is a fun hobby that she's become more involved in recently. She might take some classes in the subject to learn more of how it's done and the theories behind it.
Hopes and Dreams: Cherie wants very much that her art will help someone. This is something she strives for every day, whether conscious or not. She has donated time to paint in hospitals and the like in efforts to help. Hospitals can be rather bleak so she likes to paint (not mindlessly cheerful, just) uplifting subjects. She will often reduce her fees if it's for a friend or family, because she feels like she should, and that it helps them.

Cherie comes from a large family of Nudibranches. When a cit makes a Wish, they assume the care of the new family member. Whether they want that care is another story. So Cherie has several siblings and she is somewhere in the middle. She has no stresses upon her to do something specific with her life, just that she do what she most wants to do.
Everyone in her family has, or plans to have, a job that keeps them under water. It is a comfort they take for granted. Cherie's choice to be a painter makes dessication a real worry, as a large part of the painting process is to let the picture dry. Her family cannot understand this choice in her life, but they respect it and love that she has followed her heart.
As it so happens, she has found an apartment that is completely submerged, and her workplace has a pool in an otherwise dry and well-ventilated studio.

Those that took him in when he first came into the world were not his true "parents," but were to him in every other sense of the world. They taught him about love through the bonds they shared. They encouraged him to explore the world and latch onto whatever inspired him. In this case it was computers. He not only had a knack for them but he could easily understand their languages like other people understood the spoken word. So they encouraged him to expand on his education. Without them he would not be writing his doctoral thesis, that's for sure.
He lives an otherwise very casual life. He wanders the streets in the morning looking for a good place to eat lunch. He usually eats a snack for breakfast to hold him over after an all-nighter, but his main meal is lunch. He has casual relationships with everyone he knows, so it seems, but he is not close with anyone. It can exasperate him at times, because he wants to get to know others, but he does not understand how to take it to the next level. How can he make friends, let alone fall in love, if he can't do something so simple? It's frustrating.

Gabel comes from a line of fashion-oriented citz that include tailors, cosplayers and costumers, embroiders, silk screeners and more. Well, if Gabel was to follow in the family tradition, he was determined to upstage them all and become famous! Luckily, Gabel has a keen eye for fashion and can draw his designs. He can eyeball measurements and seams thanks to family members treating him with a ruler to the hand. If he is not the best at what he does, he will be, make no mistake.
Secretly, he lives on the top floor at the Mellow Mallow Marsh Apartments, which he co-owns. It is a little below his desired comfort level and price range, but some day he will move out and into a plush penthouse downtown.

Hobbies: Gossip is Sen's greatest hobby and if allowed will do so incessantly. She likes to read sections of a textbook that were not assigned so that she can have a little more knowledge than her peers. So she can often be found with a large book in hand.
Hopes and Dreams: Beyond the here-and-now, Sen does have some dreams. For example, she wants to open her own shop of confectionery, with a small team of ambitionless crafters that can help her realize her visions for each dessert. Then she will have the freedom to envision and experiment. Telling someone what to do (in that situation) sounds fun, too.

She never really had any family and envies anyone who has had the privilege. The exception might be Cherie, because she has opened her home and family to Sen. She feels like they are her distant relatives, as a result. It's a strange feeling one gets when everyone smiles brightly with an exuberant, "Hello! How have you been?" It totally warms her heart.
Over the years Sen dabbled in different media in her art quest. She never really clicked with anything until food came along. Now, one might call her obsessed!

And passing that knowledge on to the public is such a joy. She loves it when someone asks questions, or when the lights spark behind one's eyes with understanding. This is a job she would love to come back to in retirement, but what she really wants is more grant money to allow for more digs. More time to allow more artifacts to be excavated. Cathy's background and history are remarkably boring by comparison to most individuals. They had the silver spoon of education and SCIENCE in her mouth from the beginning. Her Wishers began her cultivation with diligence and enthusiasm. She was ahead of her class at times that no one but herself, family, and educators would care about. She skipped grades and obtained degrees early as one would expect.
As a result of all of this, her educational repetoire is vast and her social skills are, beyond her tendancy to run off at the mouth, by comparison quite underdeveloped. She understands little of the heart and perceptions ones may have of her outside her immediate circle. She has no idea what it is like to have a breakdown, to lose a family member or friend, to have financial trouble where getting enough food was a real challenge. She has had no need (that she could recall) of friends to support her in these times.
She is pompous, and little wonder. But she is kind and generous. If tested, she would probably come through as a person of honor and grace. But who can say until one is tested with real hardship?
