Nememus was surprised to see the... He wasn't quite sure what to call it? A ghost? A Spirit? Something? It was definitely something he wasn't quite sure how to put into words. He wasn't sure that it was an act as everyone who seemed to be a part of the haunted house reacted so strangely to it. He had been talking to the child before the teddy bear had been handed over, though he hadnt gotten responses, he did indeed get the child to quiet down a bit. He hoped this was because he made the child feel at least a little comforted by his presence. For most of the haunted house he had just kinda stayed back and the Last part of it was really all he truly participated in. He felt a little guilty for not participating in more of the haunted house, but there wasn't a lot on this plane of existence that could or would frighten him. He supposed that's what happened when you had bones for wings and a grandfather who believed in fairies and protected a grove in which those fairies resided. The fairies his grandfather had were nothing like the faeries that others kept as pets and he had now gotten himself distracted in thoughts about unrelated things.
He focused once more on the events of the trap door hallway. The door that the Spectral being was saying they needed to open. He was curious as to what exactly would have happened if they had been able to open the door. He wanted to go back and assist the spectral being in finding what was behind the door. He hated being pushed out of the house before the mystery was solved. He felt like he NEEDED to know the end of this story. He wondered if this was because it was a mystery to him, and he wanted to solve it, or if something was calling him to open the door and making it so that was most of what he could focus on.
He hadn't really talked to anyone since the haunted house, but he had stayed fairly close waiting for an opening to return inside the house and be able to figure out exactly what is behind that door. What happened and why. He felt drawn to it and needed the answers. This was more than likely the stubborn side from his unknown father, his other dad wasn't quite this stubborn. He laughed to himself as he thought about family. It would seem the haunted house definitely had him thinking about his own family and what they were all doing and where he came from. He supposed this was an after effect of all the family dynamics and storytelling that was within the haunted house.
Just because he hadn't spread any rumors didn't mean that he hadn't heard any. Especially when the black robed unicorns had come and gone from the house. He heard the whispers of there being an entity in the house. He also heard that Alastor was dead? He didn't much believe that one, as he would figure if that was real then he would have heard a lot more about it. After all when someone dies you don't just hear random rumors, there's fact and truth to consider. He was still drawn to the house and waited for the moment when he could return to the house!
