The second door on the second floor was certainly expertly locked. Bloodless could hear something on the other side, however. It sounded like several ponies, and some mechanical noises. Well, this was a staged experience. It was likely some form of control room. Though, before they could speculate further, some pony else came along and was able to get the door unlocked. Sure enough, there were ponies on the other side, with several screens depicting different areas in the house. Ears perked, their curiosity was peaked. Unfortunately, however, the ponies inside were incredibly upset that the door had been opened, and had pushed Bloodless and the other pony aside before slamming and locking the door again.
After watching the door for a few more moments, a small sound left the kelain before they followed the other ponies back downstairs. It seemed as though the wailing had stopped, thank goodness. A gentle throbbing had begun in their temple. Upon reaching the stairs with the rest of the group, and approaching the door in the back alongside Blood Current, something strange happened. In a quick series of movement, the group was shoved outside as the kelain tried to process what was happening.
The haunted house had been intriguing to Bloodless. They were not exactly a scaredy cat, but they were not the heartiest of ponies either. Primarily, it had been dull, and the screaming had left them with a horrible headache. However, at the very end of the house was when it really started to get good. A transparent pony had appeared, and started asking for help. Bloodless had attempted to help them, but to no avail, hooves going straight through the other. Was it just a hologram? Or something more?
With how quickly they were thrust from the house, Bloodless had a feeling that it was not part of the act. That whatever had happened was unique and unprecedented. The haunted house was closed down immediately, and the ringleader disappeared into the depths of the house after removing all the guests and worker ponies. Bloodless hovered around, though quickly realized.... Blood Current had scampered off. Perhaps they other was too excited to figure out what happened. Bloodless suddenly felt cold and alone without their partner, but the urge to figure out what was really going on was too strong.
Unbeknownst to them, while Blood Current hovered around the house for the first little while, Bloodless scampered around the circus to find whoever else had gone into the haunted house. Especially if they went in before Bloodless' group. Perhaps other ponies' perspectives would help shed light on this unprecedented event. Most other ponies thought it was just part of the act, but there were a few others like Bloodless who realized it was not, since the house had been closed off immediately after their group. Humming to them self, they continued their journey, until they had no more ponies to ask.
If the circus had some sort of library, they would have turned their attention to it. Unfortunately, there was no such thing, and thus, they felt they hit a dead end. Finally, they decided to look for their partner once more, as it had been a few days and they were uncertain if Blood Current had been drinking from their special orb.
