Night of the Draconis

The Night of the Draconis is a nocturnal matriarchy based clan of Kitsu who are a nocturnal based society living deep within the South Watch Forest . The clan is this way because it is the closest way to become close to the god they worship, Seth. Family is very important to the clan, especially to the rulers., those who adorn Dragon bity tails.

The clan currently only welcomes Nightmares, Normals, and Tricks into is ranks.

Ranks:

Queen: the sole Ruler over the entire clan. The queen is hardly seen in public as she is usually in constant mediation/prayer.

Royalty: All those who inherit the Dragon bitey tail trait will be considered royalty. Females will hold positions of power over the males, however if there is no female available a male will take over the role until a suitable female is born. Royalty do not have to follow the color based system for the citizens as they will be put in positions where their talents are most needed.

Royalty holds leadership positions over the citizens in each class. Each class eventually will have one or two royals they can approach with concern and suggestions. Which then these royals directly approach the queen.

Citizens: Citizens are put into classes based on the color of their coat. Those who border on colors can choose which class they wish to go into.

Earths: (Green and Brown ) - These Kitsu are the Farmers and crafters of the clan. They are responsible for growing and cultivating food and goods for the clan for sale or trade with others in the area.
Fires: (Reds and Oranges) - These Kitsu are the Warriors of the clan. They defend the clan from beasts and others who would harm.
Shadow: (Dark grey/Black) - These Kitsu are the spies and assassins of the clan. They are used to spy on others in the surrounding areas and are sent off to kill those who have harmed the clan.
Winds: (Teals/ Light Greens) - These are the messengers and record keepers of the clan. These scholarly kitsu are often tasked with witnessing the changes in the world around them and recording them into books.
Waters (Blues) - These are the merchants of the clan who are tasked with selling and acquiring goods outside of the clan for the prosperity of the clan.
Lightning (Yellows/Purples) - These are the Mages and alchemists of the clan who research magic and alchemy for the good of the clan. Some will experiment with new ways to incorporate magic where others will work along side the other classes to help them improve their areas.
Ice: (White/Grey) These are the healers of the clan. Taking care of the wellness of the citizens of the clan. This can be physical, mental or spiritual healing.

Festivals:
These are the festivals that the clan takes part in.

Festival of the Dead - since family is important to the clan they celebrate this festival in a grand way every year, remembering those who have left this world.​

The Queen:

Ya Lin is the Queen of the clan. She is a cleric of their patron god Seth and is often in meditation or prayer. She rules with a firm but Kind claw.

The Royals:

Ya Feng is the oldest brother of the three. Being a shaman it is his job to prepare for the festival of the dead each year. It is currently up to him and his brother to oversee all the citizens and help solve their problems.

Ya Houjin is the youngest of the three. As a druid it is his main job to commune with nature and protect the lands which they call their home. He shares the responsibility with his brother to watch over the citizens.

Kurta is Sturdy and dense. He is every bit the materials he likes to work with. Not a fan of the "loud" sort he prefers the quiet of a workroom. He has a sense of dry humor...

Serilis Antebellum belongs to the Night of the Draconis clan. She works as a spy for the clan. She has a fanatical devotion to the clan and firmly believes that all enemies to the clan deserve to be broken and destroyed. She is happy to pretend to like outsiders to learn their weakness while wishing them ill behind her smile.

The Winds:

Nagendra Qinglong is stubborn and very picky. Don't mess up his lists or his tail will snap at you. he spends most all nights up and active and sleeps much of the day. He detests loud noises and likes to keep to himself.

Zephyr tends to be a stoic, aloof individual. Living in a Matriarchy is great, especially you are an Absolute Queen (behind closed doors, obviously not literally the Queen.) Admittedly, he might have a little bit of a flair for the dramatic, and he gets on better with female friends. Especially when it comes to talking about the virtues of the many attractive males in the Guild.

The Waters:

Levi Leonidas came across the trio in his travels while they were looking for a place to call home. As a traveling merchant with no home base he joined their clan seeing it as an opportunity to make some silver.

Tiberius Sandstorm is an alchemist who specializes in poisons. He is tasked with researching new poisons that the shadows can utilize on their missions

Being such a fastidious list keeper it would be easy for him to be a scholar and keep active records of what he sees. while he would be a grumpy messenger he does recognize the importance of the job, but he would gladly run messages at night when most all others are asleep. The clan provides safety and stability in his life which would be a big reason to join.

Welcome. The entire clan is considered nocturnal (since the majority of them are Nightmares and the leaders are nightmares plus the god they worship) so his nocturnal ways are most welcomed

@ you all cause you own a member here, once all my events and weekends are free again starting after Sept 10th I plan to open a rp for this clan. Ya Feng will be getting ready for the festival of the dead, and will be going around to each caste to make requests. This will be the perfect opportunity for your characters to meet one of the royals as well as to establish relations between other kitsu in the clan.

I'm open to ideas of what could happen in this rp or what you guys want to see


The Rp will be done on the Kitsu Rp Discord server (which ill then be logging on BS for silver claiming purposes.

Sometime in the end of october the clan will be having their festival which will then be open to all kitsu who want to visit the clan, which i'm hoping we could recruit some new kitsu as well to join

I have no further plans after that but if anyone has any suggestions for new festivals the group could have or plots you want to see let me know
