[OVER] Fur As Pale As Snow, Congrats Pyrrh!

Greetings and happy Saturday everyone! This week's contest features a very special cat, for as you may see above this feline is albino! Now, as some of you can imagine, while being a particularly striking cat, living with such pale features can provide some hassle to day-to-day life for this kitty. So, what I want to know from you all, is how this cat manages to work around the challenges that come up as a result of their light pigments.

What are some obstacles they face with their albinism? Sensitive to the sunlight, Blindness
How do they navigate these challenges? They've learned to rely on their other senses far more than their sense of sight, honing them to perfection to the point that their impaired vision rarely gets in the way of daily life. Their fur is sensitive to sunlight, so they've come to learn how it starts to feel in direct sunlight, and use that to navigate themselves to more cozy and dark places.

What are some obstacles they face with their albinism? Vision is very sensitive to light, gets ill a lot, has bad proprioception (spatial awareness of their own body to objects)
How do they navigate these challenges? Dust rarely goes out during the daytime and when they do it's *never* on a sunny day. They keep to the shadows even when it's foggy and gloomy.

Due to the ease with which they get sick, they are a loner in more than the sense of not having a twolegger; Dust is very particular about the company they keep and is extremely cautious of forming new relationships. It is hard to find other cats who will truly keep their health in mind, after all!

And as far as the spatial awareness goes, they accepted long ago that they will simply have more bumps and bruises than other cats and stopped trying to do risky physical feats that other cats seem to be capable of trying, after too many failures. Dust doesn't stress themself about the frequency that they run into objects or trip over their own feet.
