Amphora was taken in at a very young age by a pony who 'sound her' wandering around in the park. She had actually been playing with her siblings, but this Ghoulie had been looking for something to come live in his house and take care of it, something pretty and worth having around to look at. She doesn't remember her siblings much, not after she was forced to listen to Master Davnir. He was not nice or pleasant to her most of the time. When she did start listening to him and stop crying for her mom she would get better food and treated nicer. But she did not always want to listen when she was younger. Eventually she turned out good and stopped doing bad things. She stopped trying to leave, she stopped fighting him when she didn't want to cuddle or make food for him and his tail. But it had been years now and she knew better. Outside was bad, inside with Master Davnir was good. Leaving was bad and doing anything that he did not tell her to do was a bad idea. She did some things like look after herself enough to keep pretty and to read when he wasn't home, but she didn't do anything else that she knew would get her in trouble.
Today she was sitting in the kitchens waiting for the food to cook that she had started making for Master today. She chewed on a berry as she read her book, keeping an eye on the timer for the roast that had been requested for him to eat. She knew he would be coming down soon to check on how things were going, he always came and checked in on her often when she cooked when he was home. She smiled and hummed softly, having rather a nice singing voice.
