Aether was flying around the tops of the trees, skimming over the nice tops and just watching for troubles from above. He hummed to himself as he looked around at all those who lived in the forest that he called home. He loved it here, up on the mountain and away from the clutter of the city. Some place he could relax and just have the space his large frame needed to do anything. He loved the free air and the sounds of the forest at night. He could help those out there easily and whenever he wanted. He protected this area of the mountain from anyone who wished to hurt the pony's or wildlife that lived here.
And one of those things was his newly found Evanora. She sparked something in him that he never thought he would find or need. She was bright and his rock when he needed someone to keep him from feeling alone. He had siblings yes but she...she centered him in a way no one else could! His eyes roamed over the forest floor under him and he looked around for her house, spotting it and its healthy and vast looking garden he smiled as he circled to land near it and see if she was home. He was glad that she had enough room around her home that he could land safely with his large wings. He looked around as he landed and listened for her. "Evanora? Are you home?" he asked softly as he folded his wings in as best he could and waited to see if she answered.
