The turning of the weather meant it was a bit easier for Sumire to venture out. The summer had been quite hot, as had the spring, and with the oncoming of fall it meant that she finally could stretch her wings. Figuratively, that is, as her Mother was the only pegasus in the family of unicorns. What it did mean literally was she could stroll down the streets and not bump into so many ponies, as colder weather generally meant less crowds. It suited the timid and withdrawn mare.
She had no plans for the day, save perhaps search the local stores for new knitting and sewing materials. She didn't like to be idle in any manner of the word, her magic and hooves best kept occupied so her thoughts didn't threaten. So distracted was she that Sumire didn't notice how the wind was picking up until a strong gust came by, completely blowing the scarf she'd casually wrapped about her neck away. Wordlessly she watched the cloth get caught in the breeze and travel out of her reach.
".... . . . " Should...she chase after it? Would she even be able to catch it? The thoughts ran through her head like galloping, and she found herself almost panicking. Would she get in trouble for losing it?
