For all intents and purposes, Sugar Snap was a polite, friendly pony. Their tail looked less like a monster and more like an easter egg with wings. The boy that they wore was meant to look goofy and attract the eyes of foals. Whenever they went out in public, to do the necessary shopping in town, they seemed to attract a bit of attention. They didn't mean to stand out, but they couldn't help it. Not that they ever seemed to mind the attention. They just enjoyed entertaining foals more than they did adults. Maybe they should have chosen to become a clown, rather than a humble confectioner. They didn't have a storefront in town and they didn't advertise that baking is what got them by in the way of finances. Perhaps it was because they weren't confident in their sweets enough to sell them. Perhaps it was other reasons. Nopony had ever bothered to ask Sugar Snap these things.
Sugar Snap was getting distracted by their own thoughts. Today was indeed a shopping day, as illustrated by how they were walking into Winterbloom with two saddlebags strapped to their flank. They tended to keep their gaze on the path ahead of them, frequently checking back with their shopping list to make sure they were headed for the right store. They always alloted for some space at the bottom for trinkets that they weren't shopping for, if they were to find any extra goodies, but for the time being, apples and sprouts is what the pony was on the hunt for. Who knew what else they would find? @Alanna the Pirate Queen
