Skypaw had been coming back from hunting with her sister, Rainpaw and her mentor, Skysong, when Skysong suddenly tensed up, ears erect and eyes straining forward. Skypaw often believed that her namesake could see miles ahead further than any normal cat. Skysong was someone special, someone to be admired: a hero and the deputy of StoneClan! Of course she would be able to hear more and see further than the average cat. When Skysong became the new Sunseer, whenever that happened (but it had to happen sooner than later, right? Cause Sunseer was OLD old) she was going to be the best Sunseer that the Clans had ever known.
Skysong had told Skypaw and her sister, Rainpaw, to stay behind and wait for her return and so, prey in her mouth, Skypaw stood at attention as she watched her mentor leave, unaware of what she was hurrying off towards. After a few moments, she put her prey down and after a longer wait, she sat down, but she kept her back straight and her eyes forward, certain that at any moment, Skysong would come back around the corner and tell them what had happened. @Blinded By Silence
