Nerissa yawned swishing her tail slowly to propel her lazy glide through the faded dappled light of the afternoon that trickled from the surface. She had been patrolling the waters near her cave since early this morning hoping to find something interesting to entertain herself to distract from how utterly bored she had been lounging on her hoard lately. She needed some action or something, anything new to focus on and bring her joy. Unfortunately, she had not spotted any boats to plunder or intruders to harass for daring to trespass. Everything was so god dammed peaceful and boring she was becoming irritable.
Flicking her hostile gaze about she searched for a fish or other suitable target to rend apart to vent. Spotting a school of fish not terribly far off near the reef she found a different shape catch her eye. A swift, darting shape that was too large to be any of the typical aquatic life. The corner of her mouth quirked up. An interloper. Now that's should be an amusing distraction.
Silently, Nerissa altered her course and made a direct but leisurely line right for the area she had seen the swift form darting about. Her toothy grin widening as she pictured what fun she could have while dealing with this trespass on her domain.
