Lang smiled at the happy noises Torchic was making. It was one thing for him to get those and another for someone else to be able to. He was just glad that he'd have a chance with the calmer Bulbasaur and a bit of a break. If Lan was able to keep her occupied for a bit, he was going to take full advantage of it.
First things first, Lang picked Christmas up and gently set her on the bed. Sitting himself down at his desk chair, he crossed one leg over the other and noted down all the physical quirks he could see. Which resulted in mostly him just writing down what he saw. That noted down for the physical quirks aspect he moved on to temperament.
Honestly this bit was so easy that he wasn't sure how Lan wasn't able to pick it up? Expanding on his notes in a neatly lined piece of paper, Lang was able to keep everything concise and to the point. Once everything was written out and done, he slid it into a folder similar to what he'd done for his research. Since Christmas was napping so nicely, he figured it wouldn't do any harm to just leave her for a moment while he went and dropped this off. He'd have a chance to catch up on his other hobbies with Lan keeping Torchic busy.
