Entry: A golden Yako can be seen running around, at first glance they seem to be extra busy. However if you watch them for more than a moment you'll see they are not busy, but rather they seem to be unsure where to go. They flit between trees, around the back of the Shrine, and even between visitors as they try to remember what all they're supposed to be doing. They seem to start tasks, like sweeping, only to remember something else halfway through and drop the broom to run off and do whatever popped into their head. Its enough to make some people wonder if they should be supervised at all times. Or at least have a chore list written out for them.

Entry: A flash of shadow spooks more then one soul making them think the shrine is haunted until they realize it is a kitsu. they were very busy today of all days as the festival draws to an end to bless the shrine and make sure that all visitors who come leave safely with all their belongings in tow as is proper. There is more then just yokai about. The festival also brings out thieves of all kinds and the kitsu guards the shrine and it's visitors well. Perhaps you didn't notice the other shadows around you but I promise you the kitsu did and kept you safe your whole trip in and out. Be thankful they stood guard for you and yours this year as they will next year and until all the stars in the sky burn out.

Entry: Sometimes people go to shrines to wish for good luck. The little white Koshin that spends their time in the shrine is usually in charge of that. Like a gentle touch of a nose to an ankle will make sure you stay true to your course. Wherever they manage to boop their snoot can help guide you forward for the coming year. And when it comes to an end the lucky little critter will curl up, nose to tail and wait for the next time the festivities start.
