The expedition out had been a bit of a mixed bag as wren knew she didn’t really like the mayhem that always seemed to be the bug Pokémon there but she had to admit getting Peperomia the rowlet had been really nice and Tea leaf had done so much to keep her safe. Even Foxfire had tried their best and given how small they were it was a win there. She had several sketched of the lights in the water. It wasn’t nearly as good as it had been there watching the flashing lights that seemed designed to hypnotize. But they had turned out quite nice overall. Flipping a page she moved onto sketching Maple who was cozily sleeping with Meadow Rue. There was just something so cute about the pair. It took a while to get a a rough and by the time she was done her stomach reminded her that while she had made sure all her Pokémon were fed she had neglected herself. Sliding off her seat she groaned as her muscles reminded her how silly it was to sit and draw for hours on end and not stretch out. Mossley, Foxfire and Herb quickly got under foot causing her to have to scoop them up which made her feel like a walking stand more then a trainer. Foxfire ended up on her head messing up her hair while Mossley and Herb ended up in each arm. It took a lot of fenagling to get Foxfire to be put in their poke ball and she just took Mossley and Herb out with her. She knew that there was a good chance she would have chase them if there was any wind and she didn’t have them tucked. She headed to the enrichment center to drop them off to play with other Pokémon while she took Foxfire with her to the cantina to get some food. The food was a pasta salad with a few other sides but Wren loaded up with pasta salad and couscous. She did grab some fish as well since she knew she would need the protein for a ‘balanced’ diet. Rubbing her neck she watched as a pink haired trainer was scribbling notes in a booklet. That was the nurse who had come a while back. Something Joy that was for sure. Not minding much she went back to eating quickly while Foxfire stole some of her couscous. It was really cute. Afterward she headed back to the enrichment center and let the lewfmews and her shoomish keep playing with the other Pokémon for a while. She sat back and felt more relaxed just watching the Pokémon play. She did end up getting called to help some Pokémon food out for those who were there, but that was pretty minor all things considered. She did sign up for foster care assistance for Pokémon who needed it. It wasn’t a big deal but she did check that she would help at the enrichment facility specifically and did not check that she could bring any Pokémon home as she didn’t’ think Emerald would like other unknown Pokémon getting to close to his mate. She was trying to branch out more. She couldn’t stay reclusive forever and wanted to get to know others but the effort to do so without work to do while there seemed to be a challenge she wasn’t quite ready to handle. Baby steps but to keep moving forward. One day at a time. Once playtime was done she took the lefmews and shroomish back home where her other Pokémon greeted her enthusiastically and she hugged them feeling grateful. Sometimes it was the small things that helped the most. She picked up a few things around the place and made a check list of things to do tomorrow. Some of them were just silly things but she found she operated better that way. Things like sit and take 10 minutes to brush Tea Leaf. A good thing for Tea Leaf but also a meditative activity for her.
