(Worked out details of our meet/Lune's reactions with Houllow before writing)
Ironically enough Seamus had been blindsided today. The dumbstruck and anxious feelings hadn't left even though the event had taken place over ten hours ago. It was as if his heart had been hit by a train-only the train was a mesmerizing pony named Boreal Lune. This was completely new territory for Seamus and he felt nervous as hell. Ponies tended to find his appearance 'creepy' and therefore he didn't usually try to make friends, let alone a girlfriend...let alone a girlfriend lightyears out of his league. He took some deep breaths and tried to calm down, he was getting way too ahead of himself.
He had finished editing his favorite photos from the batch and copying them to a spare flash drive so his mind was now wandering. There were two folders-one with every unedited photo, one with the edited. Lune was flawless and didn't need touching up but a few tweaks gave them that professional look needed for a portfolio. These would definitely be the highlight of his. Hopefully she liked them enough to use one in her portfolio as well. Seamus couldn't believe the odds that the most gorgeous pony he'd ever laid eyes on not only knew how to model already but actually happened to be really nice and down to Earth.
It was so hard to approach her but he was so grateful he did because it worked out splendidly. He usually only shot nature and inanimate objects but he'd always wanted to work with ponies. There was nothing more special than capturing someone in photo forever. Photos that your family could cherish and pass on to future family. The concept gave him butterflies. Eventually the dream was to have his own business speciallizing in that but first a strong online portfolio would be needed. That way ponies would come to him and not the other way around. Given his appearance Seamus was self conscious about approaching and asking permission, and he'd never do it without. It'd be unethical and probably illegal.
But she'd smiled and laughed, the good kind of laugh, and agreed. Lune had even made a comment about how she wasn't as pretty as she could be but didn't mind which to him was an insane thought. Her natural look was already stunning, if she were done up any more it'd probably cause heart attacks. Lune's hair was literally unlike any other pony's he'd ever seen. It looked like the sky at night only the daylight seemed to make it sparkle even more. It was tied back and defied gravity, floating flatteringly around her. It added its own interesting element to the photos. They were turning out SO GOOD! She was busy planting flowers in this park as volunteer work so he'd decided to go the 'fake candid' route. He told her to pretend he wasn't there for the most part but also to look into the camera when she felt like it for some posed looks as well. Since she had modeling experience already he didn't really need to give her any instruction beyond that, he was just there to capture her magic.
Seamus could have taken photos of her forever, but stopped after a reasonable...maybe a little longer than...but hopefully reasonable time. Thinking back on it maybe he should have offered to stay and help finish the gardening but he didn't know beans about gardening and didn't want to get in her way any more than he already had. She gave him her mailing address for copies of the photos but he also planned to add a thank you note with his number and a gift card to a local cafe. He'd also purchased a flowered hair clip on his way home to add in as well to further show his appreciation. With any luck at all she won't think that's weird and will contact him for another photo shoot. Only time will tell.
