[SRP] Twilight Town Duck Pond -Emily [Community Project]

Hello hello! our very first community project will be the building of a Duck Pond and Playground! This means that we have very special tasks built around this subject with a special reward at the end for those participating. We will have a set goal point goal to meet for the true addition of the park.

What would a day at the park be like for your pony?

Emily smiled looking over the foals at the playground. She knew a fair number of them from her job at the school. The playground was nice and sturdy with some sort of anti-bug chip that made the ground soft if a foal happened to fall on it. She thought that was a great touch on the part of whichever architect designed it all. She was out here today trying to think what she should try and write next. The only hard part with everything was the writer's block. It was crippling. And it was why she was going to spend the day in the park today. She had watched someone try to feed the ducks a short time ago only to retreat to the nature trail after the ducks seemed to swarm them. That had been funny enough for Emily to smile a bit thinking about it. She had several notes so far but it seemed fairly hopeless to her. She had walked the nature trail when she first arrived. She hadn’t bothered to feed the ducks as they seemed cute but well she wanted to focus on other things and she could watch others feed them anyway. The playground had a good mix of structures and watching the kids play seemed like fun but didn’t really help to inspire her. Instead she was sitting relaxed under a tree with her little notebook and slowly passing the day in the park just listening and watching and making small notes as things struck her. She watched a flower fae drift in the park before it moved out of sight. That might make for a good story. She make a few notes. The story of a small lost flower trying to find it’s way back to the woods only to get caught up in a storm and lost before getting help form a foal to find it’s way home leading to them being lifelong friends? Yes that seemed like a cute story. She finished the note before looking at the pond and ducks. The sunlight on the surface of the pond while the ripples from splashing ducks was mesmerizing. Perhaps a story based in the land of summer about a drought that cripples a town only for a weak pony to leave and find water deep underground and get help from slime ponies. That sounded like a good classic right there. She finished that note and continued to sit and watch while the sun rose higher in the sky. It was only the very loud grumbling in her stomach that made her realize she had to head home and get some lunch. Deciding those two stories were enough for now she headed home glad to have visited the park as it gave her some idea of some stories to work on.
