Theo’s space was a mess. He was trying to clean and restructure his place before starting to go on adventures but honestly he was just putting it off. To that end he decided he was going to play with Bug. First he had to find it. “A mostly black and white Pokémon in room full of stocked papers with print outs and black and grey computer equipment, What could go wrong?” Theo lifted a ream of paper carefully making sure that Bug wasn’t behind anything. He thought he caught movement out he corner of his eye but when he looked there was nothing. He set the ream of paper down and trudged across the room bending to look at shelf he thought he saw movement when something flew nowhere and decided to attach itself to his face! There was a second of sheer panic until Theo realized it was who he had been searching for. “Bug, Bug sweetie.” Theo took a moment to pry Bug off before holding her out in front of him gently. The N. Scatterbug were actually fairly aggressive he remembered. And Bug was a prime example of this. She had a tendency to fling herself right at the face of anything that came to close to her territory. He didn’t know if she would ever grow out of that but he doubted it. It was just a pity she was claiming his messy office as her space. She tolerated his other team members mostly but not always depending on time of day, how well fed she was etc.. “Alright little guy, lets see if we can get you to do a trick or two.” Bug was a girl but that never stopped Theo for calling any of his Pokémon little guy as was a habit. Holding her he close he deiced what he was going to do in place of cleaning. He took bug into the kitchen and got a bowel full of berries. He was training not bored he told himself. He set bug down on the table and held up a berry by a stem and bug of course launched herself at it. Getting another one he tossed it up high above her and she launched herself up at the berry Theo was using for target practice. Bug actually had a fairly poor catch record. More often than not she missed. He wondered if it was because she was so small or just wasn’t used to moving prey. Theo then had to go grab a data sheet he had saved from the N. Scatterbug. He had to half uncrumple it and rubbed it on the side of the counter to smooth it so he could read it better. Mumbling out loud he rubbed his chin. “eats eggs and will eat berries or other things it can find. Huh so Bug you eat mostly stationary things.” That made sense why she had such poor accuracy despite always being able to find his face. Must be a size thing he thought. He wondered if he couldn’t print out a target and train her to aim a bit. Deciding to try it out he left Bug sitting on the table eating berries while he quickly moved to his office room and worked on printing out a couple of targets he made sure they were not all centered exactly and had varied sizes. Walking back he noticed Bug had eaten a fair amount of food and didn’t seem inclined to do much physical activity at the moment. Picking her up and putting her in his pocket like he often did with mouse he started to look for places around the apartment where he could put targets that if she missed or fell short she wouldn’t get hurt. Counter top, window with the couch by it. Just in the living room by the TV area. There were lots of places to put targets and he could use them for Byte as well. “Right Bug wanna nap in my pocket for a while and we will pick back up training after I play, train with Byte?” She was chittering a bit but mostly was just lazily chewing on his shirt pocket at this point. He was going to have to get it replaced if it kept up. Stroking her head soon Bug was napping and Theo started to look for Byte but had to be careful as every so often if he moved wrong he heard annoyed noises from his shirt pocket.

Having put up targets Theo then went around looking for Motherboard. Where the Mimikyu was would be Byte. The joltik was prone to riding on Motherboard and using the static that Mo generated as a food source. Soon enough Theo found the pair in some blankets he had made into a bed for them as other Pokémon weren’t to fond of snuggling up next to the pair at night. He went to pick up Byte but the shock he got made him cringe. Damn he knew he forgot something. Heading back to the kitchen he bent carefully and got out some kitchen gloves. Sliding them on he went back and poked Byte. “Hello little guy.” Byte woke up and its multiple eyes blinked a few types it woke up. “Here we go.” He herded Byte into his hand using his other hand trying not to wake up Mo. As soon as he picked Byte, Mo scared the crap out of him by zipping off between his legs off to another part of the house. Honestly how Mo liked do that scared him every time but it was really cool to see other times when he did it to others. Byte and he moved to the kitchen where he scooped up the dish of berries he had been training with Bug earlier in the day. He sent it down on the counter and held up one in front of Byte teasing them and then moved it back to the target that was taped up after he was sure that Byte was enthused enough to try and attack it. It took no time at all before he was moving around the house holding berries in front of the target print outs and watched as Byte launched at them clinging to the wall on the target. It was honestly more entertaining then his practice with Bug, perhaps that was because Byte seemed more skilled then Bug was despite both of them being young bugs. Midway through training Theo was shocked as mid leap at a berry Byte got tackled in the air. Sucking in his breath he moved quickly to separate Byte and the now awake Bug who seemed to think she wanted the berries that Byte was targeting. It wouldn’t take long for her to start biting and Byte would attack back. While he was fine with play fighting he didn’t want any serious fighting over things like food. Sparing was fine, training great, just no real injuries. He couldn’t that much less his Pokémon partners. Taking a Pokémon in each hand Theo carried Bug back to the bowel of berries to let Bug sit and eat in peace as he was only partway thought his, now in his mind, relay coarse of targets. He would do it with Bug later but made a note not to carry Bug around. Having surprise fights would not end well with how aggressive Bug was. Theo scooped a few berries with his now free hand and went back to the other room to continue training with Byte. He kept at it for a while more until both of them were tired. “Good job Byte.” He stroked it’s head before trying to find Mo in the house. It took a while but Mo was hiding under his bed with a blanket it had pulled under there. He really couldn’t say he was all that surprised. Holding out Byte it took no time at all for the pair to be quickly reconnected as Byte and Mo seemed to be best friends or at least in a positive relationship of some kind. With that he decided to go back to cleaning. Honestly he hated messes and wanted to clean all this but the scale of it was overwhelming him at this point. The training break for Byte and Bug had helped him refocus his mind. He moved to his computer work room to start and of course his computer was on a moving screen saver from when he printed off the targets before it was a moving crosshair from a first person shooter he liked to play. He was midway through cleaning up a stack of papers that had come off the shelf at some point when he heard a loud ‘thunk’ sound. Sighing he looked back over his shoulder at his computer screen that now had a joltic that was apparently aiming for his screensaver. He was sure it would have stayed under the bed with Mo. He turned and started to scan the ground only to see Mo drift behind a shelf like some kind of maniacal little ghost of course they were both in here. He was glad he hadn’t brough bug back in or there would have been a fight, again. Petting Joltic he tried to figure out how he could get Byte to get certain targets and not others. He might have to ban everyone form his office to protect his computer equipment.
