6/25/22 Training summary

Lang took a moment to glance over the three pokemon he had. Torchic, Lefmew, and Mimikyuu were all well trained. It had taken pracice, both on his part and on their part, but he was confident that each of them would do exceptionally well when he went back out. At first, he'd just been too proud to try going out again after failing so hard, but then it had become a matter of needing training to go right.

So he'd spent time learning both from the meager books available at the enrichment center and surreptitiously watching other trainers go about their training. Everything combined was enough to help Lang be more confident in his skills and in turn, help his pokemon get more confident in their skills.

The three had trained together, working to overcome the challenges Lang kept giving them. It would be several days to get everyone on the same page, but they were worth the effort.

6/29/22 Training Summary

Another day of great effort by everybody. Lang was impressed. Lefmew was looking stronger already, and the other two were well on their way. A handful more days like this and they might end up stronger than Lang could handle. Or, well, stronger than he could handle if he wasn't feeling more confident in himself too. With everybody behaving so well and training so diligently, Lang would need to look into move sets to make sure they were on track to learn things that would be the most useful for them.

Lefmew in particular was weak to some of the bug types around, but the fact that they were partially flying type would help. Lang had started setting things up so that they could train against would-be attackers that knew bug moves.

Torchic and Mimikyuu wouldn't have that problem, though Lang needed to check with the researchers what moves mimikyuu could actually learn.

6/30/22 Training Session

After looking into the different moves that his trio of pokemon could learn, Lang decided on which ones they should aim for. Well, for at least Torchic and Lefmew anyway. He was going to try with Mimikyuu, but wasn't sure that they would take to it. Frankly since they were a fusion, he wasn't entirely sure what moves they could learn anyway. Researchers had said quite a few, but who knew.

Lang took the time to focus on Torchic, making sure that she would be prepared when she was finally stronger. Their training went great. Next was lefmew, and Lang did his best, but there was a bit of a disconnect. Tomorrow they'd try again and see if they could do better.

Last up was the mimikyuu. Lang tried his best, he really did, but it just wasn't happening today. Mimikyuu was all trained out. Ah well, there was always tomorrow.
