How do they know each other? Childhood friends turned lovers.
Their most important Holiday memory together! Tuck and Kimi were best friends as children, despite coming from rival attire company lineage. Tuck's family focused on suits and used machinery, while Kimi's family preferred traditional methods of sewing and mainly worked with kimonos. Despite their differences, the two families still seemed to fight over customers. As Tuck and Kimi grew, they began taking notice of their families' scuffles. They, too, began to butt heads over this and eventually had their own falling-out, ending their ever-long friendship.
As the years went on, the two businesses began steadily declining in profit. Unbeknownst to Kimi, Tuck was experiencing his own changes, and eventually transitioned (FtM). With everything suddenly aligning just right, Tuck's family hatched their own idea- a betrothal! They brought up their plan to their soon-to-be partners, Kimi's family, and as a whole they agreed it would be the best way to merge their companies as one to increase sales and end their decades-long rivalry.
At first, Tuck and Kimi were appalled at the idea, having not seen each other since their big fight. Despite this, their families banded together to throw a big holiday party specifically designed for the two to get to know each other again. Surprisingly, it worked extremely well! The two of them caved to the proposal and in the end, did marry. Today, they treasure the holidays as the time that fate brought them back together, and they are now happily married and co-owning one of the fanciest attire companies in Everchange!
