[Task 5 - Writing] Write about or draw a major event that a pony experienced in the last year
Devereaux had offspring with his lifemate Sherbert on July 26th. Out of the baskets emerged two adorable Unicorns who would forever change his universe. Settling into fatherhood was pretty easy already having a nurturing side from being the Alicorn of Comfort. Watching them grow has been both a pleasure and grand adventure.
Teaching Jane to sew plushies with him when she was little ended up having a big impact. She later started pursuing a career in fashion design and was making a pretty good name already. Also found love with a delightful, bright gal named Lysa. [Unnamed] is still finding their way in life but he doesn't love them any less for it. Dev adores them both to pieces.

[Task 6] Write a menu for a new year's party, including at least four dishes/drinks
Is it selfish if I just choose my favorite things? Caaaaaaause that's what I'm gonna do! For food; vegetable samosas, malai kofta, rice, and garlic naan. For beverages; strawberry lemonade, peach margaritas, jagerbombs, and water (so nobody dies).

[Task 8 - Writing] Write about or draw the perfect venue for a new year's party
A giant bonfire on the beach trope but with actual comfy (cushioned) outdoor furniture and lots of citronella torches to keep mosquitos away. Conveniently placed right next to a reserved restaurant with outdoor dining. But never fear, there are extremy well paid/eager busboys (x10 their usual wage) that will take and refill your drinks and food while you're at the bonfire spot too. So up to you which of the three spots (indoor dining, outdoor dining, bonfire) you wanna be at for what. Music setups at all locations on same timings with same playlists.

[Task 9 - Writing] Write about or draw one of your ponies' reaction to the news about the weird magic sphere
Seamus Blindside, like most everyone, had to come see in person once he heard. Being a professional photographer he wanted to take lots of artsy angle photos of it. And when he saw the freaking amazing lighting effect it had in the photos from the magic glow he was inspired beyond belief. Knowing this phenomenon might not ever happen again he decided to take full advantage, calling all the models he knew to come. The magical lighting did wonderful things to the portrait style photos he started taking of them. Once he started, he couldn't stop and offered to take photos of literally anyone who inquired.

Task 5 Written
Maverous looked at his sleeping mate with a soft smile. He had a weird year with the carnival and the crazy that had happened thankfully the last year hadn’t been to bad and let him recover well only to then at the end of year he had found a lovely wonderful surprise as a mate who he could relax and listen to music with. Going and getting a blanket he covered her up and then moved to make dinner. He wasn’t one for soft sweet words so he was glad she could understand him when he pushed food toward her saying he made to much or when he did things like covering her with a blanket because he didn’t need it. Why were those soft little words so hard for him to say? He had a mate this year which was new and exciting perhaps next year he would be able to learn to say how much she really meant to him.

Task 8 written?
ok so the perfect new years party for me might be boring compared to others but honestly it is game night with friends. some chill background music and a nice relaxing evening. my husband does cook me a special stir fry and if I can stay awake I'll snag a midnight kiss but most of the time I am curled up and napping well before the end of the night. if things are wild and I have alcohol I become the master glowstick crafter and have made glowstick chainmail armor and a navi glow stick buddy with packing tape and glow sticks. the perfect night doesn't have to be big or crazy just good people and good vibes

[Task 11] What was your favorite pony you've seen created in 2021?
Had a suspicion but did a quick scroll through all of 2021 to make sure and yep-it's this Bitsie plushie convert. My jaw dropped (literally, not figuratively) when I first saw and I still think this pony is beyond perfection.

[Task 12] What sort of events (rp, writing, drawing, tasks) would you like to see more of in 2022?
More events just like this one actually. Made my lazy butt do some character writing and drawings which is good. I really liked that there was a mixture of things to do so that everyone can join because if it's just RP or just art-there's a lot of people that won't feel up to participating. 9/10 times I wuss out of RP or plot writing games because I'm just not confident at all about my writing.
Spellmas was also freaking badass being able to customize your win-particularly the hair-was so satisfying though I understand if y'all need to simplify it so you don't get overwhelmed having to make so many ponies.
If we can also have more pets as prizes that'd be aaawwesome because I have so many ponies that want one.

Dustin Lost Dreams was badly burned by his first love which he now factors to falling in love and committing too fast. He's falling for another girl now but doesn't want to make the same mistake again. To restrain himself he'd put the very special item he's tempted to give her now (think human equivalent of an engagement ring) in there. If in a year the feelings are the same he'll go for it knowing that he excercised some restraint and gave an effort to caution this time.
