(Inspired by the fact that I've put this girl in swap before because I thought I'd never be able to find a clothed lifemate I'd like with her EVEN THOUGH I adore her design. And now turns out she's going to be perfect for running my new herd idea so-swapping would have been a mistake.)

Keeping this short, sweet, and to the point. I know you get lonely but finding a mate isn't everything. Don't be so fixated on it that you almost lose yourself. Not giving too many spoiler alerts here but...You'll have plenty of things to love in the future and above all you should love who you are. So just enjoy life as it comes and don't sweat the bigger picture.

1-1-22 Been a hard year but that's nothing new. Still can't seem to get a grip on my emotions no matter how hard I try. An almost constant battle in my brain of wanting to be carefree but caring about everything too much. Though numbers are resetting it doesn't change the fact that everything is the same as it was yesterday. Same pony that stared at me in the mirror yesterday was staring at me again this morning. I still think resolutions are pointless and refuse making them. The year will be what it'll be.

Ok after much, MUCH digging, I have come to the conclusion I liked a lot of ponies for 2021.
A lot.
I went thru every one, painstakingly, and I think I have come to choose one, finally....
This soft bab that belongs to Tea, I think?
Just suuuper fits my current interest of ponies, and you know my whims change at the drop of a hat so... XD

I would love to see just a little forum area where folks could leave letters from one pony to another example

my Prancer leaving a letter to use Moonie's Melty Dreams
just something Prancer could write while he was out of everville on a training session for a race or maybe drop off a doodle art bit for someone else's pony like it arrived in the mail.

Seeing all the pretty lights that people decorate their houses with and watching stores change decorations through the months. My local drug store is decked out with Valentine's candy and all the red, white, and pink, and I'm loving it.

Dear Phoenix Down,

You're going to be okay. Your children are going to be okay. Dawn's Elixir and all of your other siblings are going to be okay. Breathe in deeply now. Let this letter sink into your shaken, lonely soul.

Your parents were wrong. The world is healing, it's moving forward, and you're capable of making a wonderful house and home by yourself. You are strong. You are talented. You are full of so much love and I promise you, leaving them behind was the best decision you ever made. You're a grandparent now and have a partner that loves and supports you.

There is so much out there in this world that is ready to meet you and ready to love you. Take your time to heal from this abandonment, yes, but whenever you feel like everything is about to cave in on you and there's no escape... Remember the sweet eyes of your children looking back up at you. You're doing this for them and for their futures. Everything you're doing right now is worth the struggle, Phoenix. I know that for certain. You're going to be an incredible parent and a foundation for a life so much better than the one you were raised in.

You can change so much more than you know just by being the wonderful pony that you are.

1/1/2022

New year's day again and I'm... Still living in this town. If you'd told me three years ago that I'd still be here, working in a bakery and taking care of a pet, I'd've called you crazy. I'm still Taffy, the sweet, sunny-eyed, girl behind the counter selling ponies cakes day in and day out and... I'm not in a rush to disappear this time. Ain't that something? It used to be a different name, hometown, backstory, family situation, and all that jazz every single year, but maybe now I'm getting comfortable?

Ugh, you know, writing that makes me feel like I've got a piece of rock candy stuck to my fur. I know I'm not okay, yet. Like, I still don't want anyone figuring out who I really am or what I've actually had to go through. In fact, I think that's the only thing that'd make me run at this point. Imagining my brothers or sisters coming through the door of the shop and seeing me there and having to pretend I don't know them just-eughhhh-it's enough to make me want to throw up! I know it's like, super unlikely, but it's never not a possibility either.

... I keep coming back to this, huh? The whole "I can't keep running forever" and "How many identities do I have to come up with before it's enough?" anxiety train keeps pulling up in the station and won't go unless I board it. I keep trying to reason with it, I know I'm safe, I know I've got good friends this time around and enough money to keep it up... But, you know, am I really safe? Who's to say I won't get caught and end up right back where I started?

Thinking about how I'd explain myself to everyone here is bad enough. Thinking about seeing my parents again is worse. I know I can't avoid it forever. One day I'm gonna have to tell someone. It's all gonna come out like a big rotten mess and I know it's gonna hurt.

But I'm not going to bring it upon myself intentionally. I'm not that kind of pony.

... Maybe I should go shopping. There's bound to be plenty of sales now that the holidays are through. It'll... Help get my mind off of all this.

Probably should get Raspie some treats, too. He goes through them like I go through names, heh.

Task 12: What sort of events (rp, writing, drawing, tasks) would you like to see more of in 2022?

There were a few new game types introduced recently. I really love the idea of the Themeapalooza, though I think it got lost amongst all the other games going on for the season. So I would love to see that come back as it's own thing. Spellmas was also fun, and another event I'd love to see on its own so it isn't drowned out/drowning others out. This event is yet another cool one, in my opinion, I'd love to see again but... Something tells me this wouldn't happen as often >.>

They are all good suggestions, but I would have to say rp and tasks. But, also spelling games like Spellmas that was a fun game. I personally like any spelling games that invovle the RNG.
