[Kitsusagi Staff]

There are many things that are available for Kitsusagi to buy from time to time. Some of these items have OOC uses, and some have IC uses! All items cost a certain amount of silver, which can be earned by your Kitsu in various ways.

This thread will go over types of items that can be purchased, and how they can be used. To see if the item(s) you want are currently available, please see the shop thread!

But wait! What if my Kitsu's official original artwork has them wearing armor, or holding a weapon or item, etc. Can I use this without having to buy the corresponding item from the Shop?

In this case, yes, you may use any item that your Kitsu has on their official artwork within reason. If a Kitsu is drawn wearing a relatively small piece of leather-looking clothing, this is not the same as leather armor. If your Kitsu is shown with a dagger, this is not the same as a glowing magical sword. Be logical with what properties you assign to items on official artwork!

Please keep in mind that your Kitsu will still need to do training RP's with any weapons other than Light - even if they are on their artwork - before they can be used in battles.

Also, using armor or an item that is magical will need permission from the shop owners and RP manager, so please contact them before RPing using magical items that may be on your artwork.

OOC Items

• Star Medallion- 10 silver - This is an item that allows one of your Kitsu to 'level up', giving them more stat points, abilities, spells etc. For your first level up (first stat increase), you will need to buy one Star Medallion. After this, you'll need one less of the medallion than the level you are going to. So it works like... Level 2 = one item required to be turned in, Level 3 = two items, Level 4 = three items etc. No greater then three levels using medallions can be done at one time on one pet using medallions then a month cool down before using more on that pet.
  
  
• Amulet of Fertility- 15 silver - This item may be used on any breeding to obtain the maximum number of orbs. You must post in the breeding form that you have the Amulet when trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a breeding is won.
  
  
• Mysterious Stone- 30 silver - This item can be used to 'upgrade' a normal custom slot to a mutant slot. Keep in mind that only edited colorists can make mutants, and some may be more comfortable with them than others! You must post in the custom form that you have the stone when trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a custom is won.

• Memory Charm- 20 silver - This item may be used on any breeding with throwback options to ensure that throwbacks are used for that breeding. You must post in the breeding form that you have the charm when you are trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a breeding is won.
  
  
• Two headed charm- 25 silver - This item may be used on any breeding to ensure a hybrid of two breeds of kitsu. You must post in the breeding form that you have the charm when you are trying for a slot as well as list the hybrid options. If used on a breeding it must be the breeds of parents. Example: tundra and angelic. For hybrid adults you must list the breeds of parent. Example: tundra and angelic/kirin. The item is not used up until a breeding is won.
  
  
• Tanuki Totem- 15 silver - This item may be used on any breeding to ensure variant traits. These can be found in the breed guide listed at the end of each breed. You must post in the breeding form that you have the charm when you are trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a breeding or custom is won.

• Tricksters Tail- 15 silver - This item may be used on any breeding slot to ensure a different breed of kitsu born to a breeding. You must post in the breeding form that you have the charm when you are trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a breeding is won.
  
  
• Nesting Stone- 15 silver - This item may be used on any breeding to obtain an extra orb. This includes going one over the max number for a breeding. You must post in the breeding form that you have the stone when trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a breeding is won.
  
  
• Bright Trinket- 10 silver - This item may be used on any breeding to add a bright color to the offspring. You must post in the breeding form that you have the charm when you are trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a breeding is won.

• Fogged Trinket- 10 silver - This item may be used on any breeding to add a dimmer more muted color to the offspring. You must post in the breeding form that you have the charm when you are trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a breeding is won

• Jasper Tattoo - 15 silver - This item may be used on any breeding to add markings. You must post in the breeding that you have the stone when trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a breeding is won.

• Merry Modifier Charm - 25 silver - This item may be used on any breeding to ensure an added mutation. You must post in the breeding that you have the charm when trying for a slot. The item is not used up until a breeding is won.

General Clothing & Accessories

Sometimes, the Shop will offer different kinds of templated clothing and accessories that may be added to your Kitsu's artwork. These types of items have no benefits in battle, they are simply there to further customize your Kitsu if you wish to buy them to do so.

Trinkets

These are a type of item that you can buy which may or may not have some use IC. Usually they are not added to a Kitsu's artwork, you should just put in your Den that your Kitsu owns certain trinkets. Some may go onto the artwork, but not all.

Beer Mug - 1 Silver
A big mug of your Kitsu's favorite foam-topped alcoholic drink.

Starry Lantern - 3 Silver
A colorful lantern to light your path.

Purple Floral Plush - 2 Silver
A large firm plushie that Kitsusagi tend to collect.​

Armor

Simple Leather Armor - 3 Silver
This basic set gives ample places for your items and bags to attach to and a handy +2 dice to your defense rolls.

Weapons

Autumn Sword - 5 Silver
A colorful blade that gives a +3 dice boost to physical attacks when in use.

Basic Autumn Wand - 5 Silver
A seasonally themed wand that gives a +3 dice bonus to spell attacks.​

Other Items

Other items that can be used in battles or on adventures will be listed on a case by case basis, with a description in the shop. Some examples are Beast Companions, treasure maps, potions, etc.

Snyk - 5 Silver
Beast Companion
A colorful snake companion that can be used as a Beast Companion for Druids or just a close pet.

Druids
Choosing this companion would grant you​

• +2 dice to rolls involving Intimidate and Escape Artist​
• Paralyzing Glare: Paralyzes a single target for 1 turn. Can be used 1 per battle.​

Neveam - 5 Silver
Beast Companion
A cheerful bat companion that can be used as a Beast Companion for Druids or just a close pet.

Druids
Choosing this companion would grant you​

• +2 dice to rolls involving Perception and Fly
• Echolocation: Can be used once per battle to locate a hiding or invisible target.

Magic Clouds - Free
These can be used to allow you kitsu to hold something magically.​
