Rabbit's Name: Brook
Backstory:

Home

Brook makes his home alone in the territory that boarders between The Tanglewood and Sunset Acres Warrens. Where one of many streams runs off from Nymph's pool runs all the way down into Luremire where Brook never seemed fit to go. There inside a hill that near the thin streamlet they nestled into a small craggy tunnel from which Brook can overlook the stream bellow. Inside is warm and dry, a stark contrast to the ground bellow just outside where it becomes marshy with tall grass and reeds. Here the grass grows sweeter, the frogs form ensembles to sing, and there is always some kind of movement brought in by the stream keeping the days from becoming long and mundane. In the springtime as the snow melts and runs off into the creek, or when a warm summer storm floods the plains the stream broadens swelling wide to accommodate to sudden influx of water carrying it swiftly into the quagmire far beyond where Brook dares not go.

In his little slice of pastoral paradise Brook peacefully gathers food for the winter storing it deep in their tunnels, and socializes with the many travelers that pass by for a quick drink and bite before entering or leaving one burrow to another. There is always some bunny passing through and as a result Brook ends up hearing a lot of news between mostly The Tanglewood and Sunset Acres Warrens.

Personality

Personality wise Brook is quite a hospitable bunny. Sometimes other bunnies pass through having traveled long and hard, or under circumstances that would leave them otherwise weary. He sees it as his duty to attend to the well being of those passing through, tending to their wounds, letting them rest in their nest, or sending them off with whatever supplies they can spare when needed. In this way Brook makes more meaningful connections. When conflict arises between the warrens he tries to maintain neutrality, but sometimes this doesn't always go so well with more passionate and loyal bunnies. With it just being himself and not being a very combative personality Brook learns to listen more often than he speaks when it comes to discussion of conflicts.

Goal

It's nice having others pass through as often as they do, never really becoming lonely thanks to that, but he does miss living with others. It's nice when a traveler decides to stay longer, or when someone who regularly passes through makes time to chat. Really though Brook wishes that someone would choose to stay of their own volition, maybe finding their company something worth sticking around for.

Memory

Winter is coming to a close and while the weather is still volatile sometimes seeing fit to dump snow outside his burrowstep mostly the days are starting to grow warmer melting the snow and the ice and trickling water into the creek. It's at this time the creek becomes it's most dangerous, both being wider and faster moving, but also terrifyingly frigid. Brook is always careful when having to travel over the stream, but all it takes is one slip, or one badly placed foot to make a potentially deadly mistake.

Brook broke through the ice plunging themselves into the freezing waters below. His full body thankfully not entirely slipping through clinging onto the edge of the ice. Lucky he was otherwise he might have been dragged under, but even after being able to pull himself out and stumble back into the warmth of his burrow Brook fell ill to the cold. In his fever Brook isn't entirely sure of himself or his surroundings, and until he starts to feel better he can't quite piece himself together.
