Place In The World: Libra is a genderfluid pony, they tend to change their pronouns based on a seasonal aspect. With spring/summer it's feminine and winter/fall is masculine. They don't have a logical reason for doing this and live in Dream Valley for the majority of the year (until it gets too cold for comfort level in which they to a warmer region for the season - they're summer aligned.) They favor balance above all other things - they work with law enforcement as a mediator because bringing peace in a conflict is something they take pride in. They're able to be a distant, non-bias party in all of it (some ponies have joked that they should make meditation tapes for how calm their voice is.) They would like to become a judge one day (if in fact those sort of things exist within Everchange. I assume since lawyers do, that judges must also.) They tend to see things in a very black/white perspective - You're either a good person or a bad one. However, if Libra determines you're a bad person, that doesn't mean that they'll ignore your right to a trial or treat you with any less respect (depending on the severity of your crime, anyway.)
They conduct themselves very well at work and have grown used to living solo at home, because they've found the balance within themselves and know how to work efficiently and keep everything running as a single party, they haven't had much luck in relationships.
Many of their partners accuse them of being distant or unfeeling - which isn't true, they just show their affection in small ways. They value independence and fun solo days, so they'd buy spa days for their partner to enjoy solo too. They didn't consider that most ponies in relationships prefer doing things together. They have a hard time reading social/romantic cues, even from ponies they're supposedly dating, which often results in miscommunication, hurt feelings and the eventual break up. Libra used to be more into dating until several failed attempts, because after each break up they felt unbalanced which is a big no-no for them. They like things to flow smoothly and for maximum productivity to be had. But whenever one of their partners left in the past, they'd have to take a few days off work, buy an absurd amount of ice cream and take some time to weep and cry and eat unhealthy until they could pull themselves up by the bootstraps and carry on.
However, after this happened so often, they decided they didn't want to risk unbalance for what was clearly something that would never work out for them, as seen by their train of failed relationships. If they go into a relationship scene again, they're going to try and go in it expressing their values and interests in a relationship (alone time, quiet nights parallel playing/being in the same room doing different activities, leaving love notes to each other.) They're looking for something more committed now that they're getting older, and they know they have things that somepony would appreciate, they're just a little daunted trying to find someone who would fit into the balance of their life.
