Character Overview: Bernadette is a shy, caring girl from Lacunosa Town, Unova. From a young age, she helped her parents breed and raise Pokemon to provide disability services to people in need of support. Eventually, she started the profession on her own when old enough, supporting herself on the side as a “dog” walker.

Five Likes:

• 1) Mythology and fantasy.

Five Dislikes:

• 1) People who try to pet the Pokemon (service providers, or those she’s walking) without asking first.
• 2) Rodent Pokemon (Rattata, Pikachu, etc.).
• 3) People staring at her vitiligo.
• 4) Spicy food.
• 5) Fireworks.

Hobbies:

• 1) Swimming.
• 2) Playing tabletop games (D&D, etc.).
• 3) Dabbles in ventriloquism.
• 4) Dog walking.

Three Strengths:

• 1) Very organized. – Bernie finds comfort when things have structure, and are in place. This goes for making/planning schedules, dates, and etc. She finds organizing and categorizing things easy, and relaxing – tending to get stressed if things are even just slightly messy or unplanned. She sometimes find herself idly cleaning or organizing other people’s things as well, a lot of the times absentmindedly.
• 2) Resourceful. – She isn’t the type to let setbacks slow her down much, so when a problem comes up, she is quick on her feet to think of a solution, or at least, a temporary fix to it until a better option becomes available.
• 3) Hardworking. – Bernie constantly puts in significant effort, dedication, and perseverance to achieve her goals. She has a strong work ethic, and is committed to her tasks.

Three Flaws:

• 1) Struggles to get their thoughts out into words (written or verbally). – Bernie is a firm believer of actions speak louder than words. Though, that’s mostly because she often has trouble getting what she wants to say out – whether it’s through talking to someone or writing it down. When she speaks, she’ll either stammer or repeat a word or phrase until it finally comes to her, or someone helps her figure it out. In writing, she will often cross words or sentences out if it’s wrong, or take pauses in between writing when she gets stuck.
• 2) Overspends when shopping. – While Bernie is pretty responsible when it comes to tasks and obligations to people, when it comes to money it’s quite different. She tends to go over budget when shopping. Sometimes it’s a little, or sometimes by a lot, but it’s rare for her to stick to the planned amount that she has set. It’s rarely for leisurely items that she doesn’t need, but it can’t be said that she never buys these sort of items either… they’re just not usually the main contributor to what she overspends on.
• 3) People pleaser. – Bernie doesn’t really like confrontation, and often has a hard time saying ‘no’ to people – especially to friends and loved ones. She often goes out of her way to do something she’s asked, or provide something, even if it’s difficult for her or would otherwise stress her out/etc. She often worries about what others think and may overthink situations to ensure she doesn’t do anything that could upset or disappoint someone.
