With Zue being lazy at this point and Zak did not want to bother with the bat he decided to throw Rain Drop out to battle the parents of the baby Scatterbug he had startled. Though he felt bad for the parents and their children, he figured it was a good time to try to catch one not knowing if he would run into another later.

With a quick bit of ember the scatterbug went down and Zak tossed a pokeball at the critter. With a couple of shakes he now owned a scatterbug. Honestly still not sure if he would actually keep the pokemon, but at least he could try to train it to see how it went if not he could always find a new owner for it, maybe Benji would appreciate the bug, and he wasn't sure if he should just keep giving his friend pokemon or let them do things themself.

After the battle he returned Rain Drop to his pokeball, unsure if he could control both Rain Drop and Zue at this point considering Zue's current behavior. "See Zue you did not have to do a thing. Though after this I think you and I need to do some training, we need to do something about your current energy levels, and additude."

He did not need to keep edging his zubat on but maybe he to also needed to let loose some stream from being stuck inside for such a long period of time. Maybe after this the both of them would be find with each other, but only time would tell as Zak continued his treck through the grasslands.

With another N. Weedle caught Zak decided it was time to head back. Though as much as he would love to stay out here for the night, with the sun setting, and a couple of pokemon in hand, as well as an item. It was time to turn back. Though two of the pokemon he caught were in research balls for which ever organization he decided to turn them into the other he was still on the fence about.

Training Zue was currently on the mind now that he talked about it, and if they got back in time the two could do so together after dinner. Pushing his way through the tall grasses the pair made their way back to the port.

Almost back to town Zue darted off of Zak's head as if he either smelled or heard something.

"Zue get back here we are almost back to the town no need to run off now." he called out rushing after his zubat wondering what suddenly got him off his head. Approaching a tree he found Zue hanging from it with a rotting piece of fruit hanging out of his mouth. "Zue drop it, thats bad."

Almost instantly the bat dropped the fruit at his trainers command and returned to his head. Finally the two made it back to town where Zak turned over the N. weedles he caught to the Viridian City Academy.
