While Pip rinsed off the jar in the river water, their chingling floated back up into the trees. They didn’t noticed until they stood up and the chingling returned with a potion grasped in it’s little hands! “Oh!” Pip accepted the offering, giving the pokemon an affectionate rub in praise. “Good job. Where did you even find this?”

Chingling darted around to indicate the general area, but as they were headed back towards Pip, they got distracted by something and dove down into the trees. Pip rushed over, a bit worried they might have dived into a patch of the stinging nettle, but it was an oran berry patch! They let Little Guy down so that they could join Chingling in their mid-hike snack.

After they had each had one, Pip called them back, scooping up Little Guy again and indicating to Chingling that it could rest on their shoulder if it wanted to. Their little adventure had turned around, but they were still keep to leave before things took a turn for the worse again. Next time they came out here they would bring someone with them.

Maybe one of the people they had met during the storm? They still hadn’t exactly made any friends, but there were a few people they at least said hi to on the street. They could probably find someone else interested in checking out this new area…
