Satine wandered along the path she found that seemed to lead towards another great looking patch of grass and berries. She hummed and tossed seeds up to Nev as she walked, letting the pidove work on her aim and ability to catch things in midair. The pretty bird seemed to enjoy it as she, most of the time, snatched the seed and ate it with a happy peep. Satine looked around and tried to keep an eye out for any other pokemon who might be around, wanting to try and catch one if she could.
As she walked, she kept having to put Sesame back on her shoulder, as the little bug was determined to get back onto the grass and not interested in staying still. She noticed some movement to the side of her and saw some bugs moving about in the bushes. Weedles! Oh, wonderful little friends! They did not seem upset at her being there to see them at least so she tucked Sesame aside so as not to let him try to fight the other pokemon, and pulled out a research ball and took a breath and aimed at the weedle who was easiest to aim for. "It's ok friend, you will have all the berries you want soon!" she whispered, mostly to herself, as she pulled back and tossed the ball at the weedle.
It binked off the bugs head and with a little woosh noise the ball took in the pokemon, shaking once, twice, three times.... then click. It had almost seemed like it was not going to work again this time, but she cheered happily as she went to get the ball, the other little weedles scattering away now that their peace had been disrupted. She laughed happily and tucked the ball back into the belt holder, in the caught side so she knew which one had a new pokemon in it.
"Wonderful! New friend for research! Wonderful! Let's go one more walk through the trees over that way and see what we can find before heading back, huh?" she asked her little companions and smiled as she walked off towards the trees she saw in the distance.
