Katrina exited her dorm room and headed towards the meeting spot. This would be her second exploration on the island since her arrival to Nauwill. Dawn Rising was on her heels with both Aqua and Zinnia riding on top of the delcatty. This time she limited her pokemon to just these three.

Her short brown curly hair was as tidy as she could make it with a simple blue colored bow tied to the side. Her shiny delcatty seemed to be wearing the same matching bow on its tail. She wore a simple sundress and a pair of sturdy boots. She felt she had over dressed for her last one and this time she was correcting her mistake, still fashionable but functional as well.

The group she was meeting today consisted of two trainers she had yet met yet, though there were quite a lot of trainers on the island that she had yet to run into, but slowly her circle of aquaintences were growing. Arriving at the meeting spot early she waited with her three pokemon.

Aqua just seemed to give that silent gentle stare it alway seemed to as it waited upon Dawn Rising's back. She never knew what the thing was thinking as it just seemed to appear behind her without making a sound just to watch what she was doing. Zinna on the other hand was just laying flat squishing itself into the delcatty's fur soaking up the sun contently.

A slightly windy, yet otherwise average Monday transpired over Doveport. The clock rolled past the morning, and brought the afternoon hours. A bright warm sun high in the middle of the sky over the small development. The weekend slipped away, it was time to really put things in motion

Dallas had been spending his weekend mostly indoors. Getting himself familiar with his surroundings. With the living situation, with the town, and with the people who had taken up residence there as well. The little developmental project was already underway by the time he had touched down on the island not too long ago. A brand new world with brand new adventures waiting for him, but he couldn't help but feel anxious, in a way.

After all he had a new, and very significant responsibility on his hands

And after all this time, too. So sure he was ready for this. And in a way, he was! And believed in his heart that he was. More than anything it was such a rush. A rush to be here, a rush to be stepping foot on this island, in the Nauwill Region. He couldn't let himself get in his own head. He could talk the talk, now it was time to prove he could walk the walk

With breathable summer clothes and a prepared satchel thrown over his shoulder, Dallas exits the dormhouse. The Nauwill sun hugging his skin, the wind running its fingers through his lengthy brown hair. This was really it!
He looks down at the small blue chick cradled in his hands, speaking softly to his Pokemon with a gentle, and assured tone.
" Boa... you like that name right? I only chose it yesterday, but I hope you like it. I want you to trust me to be your partner just like I trust you to be mine " the young Trainer attempts to comfort his Torchic. They looked like a feathery little snowball in his hands, their limbs tucked entirely into the mass of fluffy plumage that surrounded their neck and body. The Torchic's mane fans out in a satisfied response to hearing its name spoken, their own head settling deeper into its own fluffy plumage. Dallas had spend most of the weekend slowly, and carefully wishing to earn his Pokemon's trust. Speaking to it, watching its body language carefully, getting to know and trust it. And thankfully his gesture was quickly returned by the Torchic warming up to him without much hesitation. It's this that brought Dallas much relief. The little bird seemed to love being perched in his hands

As Dallas enters the plaza, he spots a curly brown-haired woman, standing by her lonesome with her Pokemon. Katrina Evergrove, one of the two Pokemon Trainers who will be exploring out into the nearby grasslands for expedition purposes with him today. Her sense of style was unmistakable here on the isand, the way her blue bow matched with her Delcatty
" Good afternoon! The weather is great today isn't it? " Dallas raises his voice to call across the plaza at Katrina, who wasn't looking at him at the time. He had a welcoming smile " I think that's a sign of good things to come for us, don't you think? " He continues his pace, soon approaching just enough to join her in standing

As the two brunette trainers met, they would be able to hear an excited voice bobbing in and out around them.

"Tobias!" It was a sing-songy, light voice, possibly one of a child. Or at least, what sounded like a young adult. "Come on! We are going to be late!" The two would hear this voice bob to the right, then seemingly across and past them, popping up on the left side. "Tobias!" There was a bubble of laughter, followed by a quick set of boots pounding against the packed dirt. Smaller, quicker steps might be heard if they really strained to listen. Soon enough, though, they would see an Aron dart out from a side path, charging right towards them, green eyes sparkling.

A five foot, seven inch - give or take - blond was hot on the Aron's heels, stumbling as they burst around the corner. With a mewling Skitty trailing after them. "You little turd!" More laughter, the blond - dressed in a loose fitting, flowery print shirt and khakis, with thick hiking boots and a bag flapping at their hip - lurched forward as the Aron - clearly Tobias - turned back to look at them. With a cry, and an attempt at scattering further or faster, Tobias turned and stumbled over its own little feet as the blond came crashing down, arms out in an attempt to grab the little thing. As they grabbed Tobias, the blond managed to conk their head with a soft metallic sound, before bundling around Tobias and tumbling further, rolling across the dirt once, twice, before stopping. A very prominent red spot just beneath their right eye, glasses now dirtied not only with sweat, but also dirt, the blond would let out a sigh of relief as they shifted into an upright position. "You are lucky you are really durable, or else we both would have been hurt!" they chided gently.

The Skitty had slown down, trotting up towards the two brunettes who were a few feet from where the blond rolled to. It tilted its head, mewled up at them, and then trotted over to the blond.

"Ah! Nikki, I am so sorry. Here, have some water." They pulled a little bowl from their bag and poured some water from their canteen into it for the Skitty, who chirped in response before partaking in some water.

Finally, they turned towards the pair. "Hey! I'm sorry to have kept you waiting!" They tried to stand with Tobias still in their arms, before the steel poke'mon wiggled out and plopped, before dipping its head towards the bowl for some water too. "I would have been here sooner, but Tobias is such a trouble maker!" Laughing, they would wave it off, before coming closer and holding out their hand.

"I'm Gingko! It's nice to finally meet you, Katrina and Dallas!" Their cheek was still red from making contact with the Aron's thick steel skull, but they seemed completely unphased by it.

Taking their glasses from their face momentarily, they pulled a cloth from their bag and wiped the lenses. "Are you two all ready to go?"

Dallas was taken aback ever so slightly. Not so much by the situation itself, but by the personality of the Pokemon on display. He always knew Pokemon were lively and unique, but seeing the two lively little partners running amuck made him feel as if he had an easier time than many with Boa. And that his time here might be more challenging than he had once assumed

Regardless, he was just happy she seemed unharmed

He meets the blonde with a smile. Tucking Boa under one of his arms, and reaching out to meet her extended hand with a handshake. " Gingko! It's a pleasure to meet you proper. Thank you for agreeing to come out with us today " Dallas said, his eyes bright as he greets a new, but friendly face.
" You had quite a fall back there, are you alright? I can't help but notice your friends seem very... energetic! "

"It is quite warm" Katrina replied to Dallas "The perfect day to go exploreing"

The Delcatty didn't seem to take much notice of the new trainer that approaced them nor did the lefmew upon its back. However the Chingling turn its semi dead eye stare from its trainer to Dallas without making a sound it ever so slightly tilted its head at them.

As the other trainer they were suppose to meet up with came practically tumbling in, it seemed all three of them were ready to head out. She symethized with the other trainer having a few pokemon that were quite like that, however she left them at home today.

Dawn Rising gave a soft mewl back at the Skitty, the delcatty greeting them softly. Aqua on the other hand seemed to have found a new thing to stare at as the chingling turned its attention to the blond trainer. It tilted its head to the other side and began its stare.

Introductions were next now that everyone who they were waiting for had arrived. "I'm Katrina and the pokemon I brought today are Dawn Rising, the delcatty, Zinnia the lefmew and the awkard chingling is Aqua. Don't mind them they just seem to like to stare at others...I think." It was the only conclusion she could come up with based on its behavior she had observed from it so far.

"So shall we get going?"
