It's often been said that good things come in three's and this certainly seems to be the case in this personality contest! We have three kits from three different families to contest off! Read on down below to find out more about each family these kits belong to and which parents will influence their growth.

Smoke and Split have a complicated relationship. While it's clear that there's been romantic tension between them, Split is notoriously hard to pin down. While he's had no problem dumping stray kits on Smoke and bailing before, he never expected to have his own with her! Smoke, meanwhile, has been trying to pin Split down for a while. She had planned for this litter to be the reason he stuck around and actually got to know her and their new family, but he remains as elusive as ever! Smoke will be the primary parent of these three kits, but if Split's planning on being a deadbeat dad, he's got another thing coming - Smoke is ready to do whatever she can to resurrect any romance between them - and see that her kits grow up well-adjusted, despite the risk of daddy issues.
Smoke will be naming these kits after skills they display in their first months. Ex. Sneak, Pounce, Charm, Scare.
These kits will be certed as loners, though their future is up to them.

Salmonstripe and Aspenswirl sought one thing when they spent their evening together - comfort. Salmonstripe, formerly of MountainClan, chose to go to LostClan, breaking out on her own, rather than going with her family to StoneClan. Aspenswirl, formerly a loner, had joined LostClan to find a community and purpose. they both found that while joining a Clan was easy enough, finding their immediate place in the group was far more tricky. They found friendship with one another, however and while the kittens that followed from their friendship were unexpected, they were welcome between the pair. Both Salmon and Aspen will be raising the kits together as platonic partners. They won't ever permanently pair together, but these kits will be surrounded by love from their parents.
These kits will be named after herbs.
You may reference the Warrior Cats Medicine/Herb List for examples, but stick to one word for the prefix! Ex. Alderkit > Alderbarkkit, Daisykit > Daisyleafkit
Their siblings have been named Honeykit and Fennelkit.
These kits will be certed as LostClan members, though their future will be up to them once they reach their warrior stage.

Riot never thought he'd become a father, but when he found out one of his old flings was carrying his kits, he stuck around to ensure that the kits knew their father. Unfortunately for the litter, it was their mother they would never get to know, for she died during the kitting. Riot has struggled as a single father of five, but his kits are made of strong stuff, just like Riot is! It's a good thing too, because throughout their kithood, Riot's children will be accompanying him on all manner of adventures! Some, while exciting, will definitely not be safe for kits to join on - Riot means well, he wants to show the littles the world he braves through every day! But... he doesn't really remember what it's like to have short stubby legs, or delicate soft fur. Who knows what kind of fates will befall these kits?
These kits follow the Loner naming theme, but otherwise have no specifications.
Their siblings have been named: Starlight, Patch, Catastrophe and Ripple.
These kits will be certed as loners, though their future is up to them.

Now that we've gotten to know each of these kits' families, let me tell you how to win them! This is a personality contest, you may enter for all three kits, but you may only win one of them! There is only one form that you need to fill out, but make sure to specify which kit you're entering for. You'll need to post the form for each separate kit entry! When the contest opens, you may post the form below, there's no need to wait for an opening statement from the staff.

Note: Anyone may enter with the exception of if you have a kit from one of these breedings. However, you can enter for a kit from a litter that you don’t have a kit from.

For example, Nym couldn’t enter for Riot’s extra kit, but she could enter for Salmon/Aspen’s!

Name: Brawn
Family Dynamic: They love their mother, and think their father is a deadbeat dad. They think that their mom would be better off forgetting him, as they are the man of the family now! They think they're the best around, the hottest shit, and have a huge ego. Little gets them down, and they are always trying to one up their siblings in every way. After all, Split.. Well, he split. Someone has to step up and take over alongside Smoke! They love their little siblings, even if it seems they are more interested in bragging and showing them up. If any other cats try to pick on their siblings, they are immediately in their face and teaching them a lesson. Only they get to boss around and make fun of their little siblings! Quite literally, they are also the largest of the three kits.

Name: Mintkit (After Catmint/Catnip)
Family Dynamic: Much like their parents when they came to LostClan, Mintkit feels out of place. They love their parents, and are thankful that they didn't split even if they didn't really love each other romantically, as well as love their siblings, but... There's something more out in the world for them. They just know it. Mintkit is quiet and observant, especially for a kit, and drinks in all the knowledge they can. They want to learn how to fend for themself in the outside world, so that one day, perhaps they can see more of it. Find their purpose in life. They could almost be a medicine cat with how much they watch, but they are also very quick to learn hunting techniques when they see apprentices play practicing in the hollow.

Name: Weep
Family Dynamic: Weep has, and always has been, a very whiny child. If they're not crying over trying to keep up, they're crying about the fact the rest of the family would opt to leave them behind if they didn't come along. They do love their family with their entire heart [enough to cry about it, I'm sure] and wouldn't ever be embarrassed or feel awkward about their situation. Riot is sure to have his paws full, with them especially, but even through their tears they wouldn't run away if they ever encountered a problem. As they get older, they'll be less prone to emotional outbursts of course, but they will be very mindful of the rest of the family in a nurturing way.

Name: Ink
Family Dynamic: Ink is a charismatic little kit. There's just something about them that is so... Alluring. Ink knows how to wrap a cat around their little paw, and is slowly becoming a master manipulator. With their mother being gone, and their father almost overwhelmed with the kits he has to take care of all on his own, Ink has set out to be as independent as possible even at a young age. As a kit, they will use their size and cuteness to worm into other cats hearts. Give them the ol kitten eyes (think like them big old wide eyes Puss in Boots would do). On their way into adolescence, it'll rely less on their cuteness, and more on seeming like they are lost or other impaired somehow - faking a broken paw, for example. And as an adult, they will come to rely solely on words. Charismatic, suave, seemingly able to talk their way out of almost any interaction, especially if it seems to be going south.

Name: Stealth
Family Dynamic: Stealth loves his father and enjoys it whenever his presence is around. He loves to learn about the outside world from the rare stories that Split will give their siblings. With Smoke, Stealth is playful and tries their best to keep their mother sane. Stealth is loving and looks up to Split so much -- he's like a superhero that comes around every now and then to save the day! Stealth lives to protect their siblings, and often looks after them before themselves.

Family Dynamic: Burdockkit is pretty bitter, just like the herb they were named after. Bitter about how their parents are not in an actual long-term committed relationship. Why couldn't they be more like Lostsun and Mothwing? Burdockkit would keep wishing their parents to actually be together, together, not understanding that sometimes a platonic relationship would be better. Burdockkit is a big kit and can be a bully to their siblings.

Family Dynamic: Twig does not remember anything about their mother. They are a daydreamer, and often wanders off, making things a lot harder for Riot. Twig has big dreams and aspirations, and can often be seen on the sidelines of their siblings. Twig would rather cheer you on with words of aspiration, instead of doing things themselves.

Name: Yewkit (after the poison herb; plan to make the kit a prolific & deadly hunter!)
Family Dynamic: They feel very warm and fuzzy within their family, content with their parents and their siblings, and are aware they will always have a home to return to. But Yew is seeking something more, underneath the contentment, and needs to satisfy their wanderlust and find their true epic saga in order to be fully happy with their life.

Name: Sorrelkit
Family Dynamic:

Sorrelkit feels protective of their family, regardless of the relationship between their parents. In fact, the example their parents set has formed Sorrelkit to truly understand what makes a family and how love takes many forms. They'll expect a lot from their future partner(s) as a result, and strive to maintain healthy relationships with a good handle on what is and isn't something they need in their life.

In saying that, Sorrelkit might also be picky. Why wouldn't they be? They have everything they need already, with a loving and healthy family that makes them feel fulfilled as is. They also expect their siblings to be equally as selective and are unlikely to feel like most cats fit their siblings at first. Cue Sorrel inserting themselves whenever they feel their sibling is being mistreated, undervalued, or taken advantage of. This will surely be annoying, in some way, and Sorrel genuinely doesn't mean to be, but they just want the best for their family.

This extends to their parents, as well. They'll absolutely be the kid in the background eying up any potential suitors. To be clear, they aren't aggressive or domineering with their opinions -- Sorrel will likely keep all negative thoughts internal or revealed to close friends, but they won't hesitate to warn their family of any red flags they see. This means they'll also be the first swinging if their family needs saving or are hurt.

Relationship issues aside, Sorrel loves their family and takes time out of their day to include them in their daily routine. They're great at giving space if needed, but they'll check-in from time to time to make sure everything is okay.

Name: Bite
Family Dynamic:

His siblings? They're great, or at least from what is known from the start of this contest. Bite likely chews on their siblings plenty, whether or not they'll let him, and he tends to have a more sarcastic and rebellious spirit, but they love their siblings. They were born together, after all, and have faced the same days and trials as a group. They annoy him from time to time, as any sibling might feel, and Bite is a little more of a rough player, but they'll happily arrive and stomp on anyone who bullies their siblings.

Now, Bite's parents? They equally annoy him, just in different ways. He loves them because of course he does, but he also finds them exhausting when in relation to one another.

Smoke is a good and caring mother who, in his opinion, is chasing the wrong guy and dragging him back to kids he clearly doesn't like (again, in his opinion). Bite wishes dearly that Smoke would just move on and find someone who is ecstatic for her time and wants to share a life with her. She's a great mom, and from what he can tell a nice cat-- his mom deserves so much better, but she's chasing the bad boy.

Split is a troublesome figure in Bite's life. He both dislikes when his dad comes around and also wishes he'd stay, with a hint of finding Split just a bit "cool" and wishing he was like that. Except, Bite doesn't want to be like Split, who looks like they're on the verge of vanishing into the air any second and strings Smoke along. Bite gets it-- Split didn't ask for Smoke to fall for him, nor did he ask for Smoke to push the relationship, but... ugh, it's all so twisted and confusing for Bite to get a grasp on. What he does know is that Split wouldn't be around if it wasn't for Smoke, and it's led Bite to feel incredibly annoyed that the cat hasn't made a Clear Decision yet.

Really, Bite knows his parents are hurting each other, and wishes they'd get it together and make a cohesive plan they both agreed on, whether that be staying together or leaving each other's lives.

Which Kit? Smoke/Split
Name: Scorn
Family Dynamic: Their name suits them and their beliefs of the family well, even if perhaps the name itself is what caused such a reaction. They love their family, particularly their siblings. Yet, still, Scorn finds themselves angry more often than not. A grumpy kit, near impossible to settle, grew into an even more quiet and resentful character the older they got. Scorn feels cheated by their mother, even if they can't quite describe it yet. Was that really FAIR? The fact they wailed and cried as a child now marked them forever? SCORN. What a distasteful word. Would that be how they're known forever, thanks to their mother? It's caused even further a drift between the two, and it isn't like Scorn has a father truly to turn to for comfort, there's none present enough for them to care. Scorn does, though, still love their mother, and hopes one day to sort out this whole mess. Maybe, if they work EXTRA hard to please their mother, they'll be seen as better than that..

They find comfort only in their siblings. Whether their names are a more pleasant show of character, or equally as marking of some trait they had no say in, they share the same fate. How they all would be viewed at first meeting was decided before they could walk, branded onto them. Oftentimes found getting in over their head for their siblings. Oh, you were curious if these berries are poisonous? ILL EAT EM! You really want that stick at the top of that tree? I'll learn to climb down when I'm up there! They are an overachiever in every sense for their siblings, and it's begun to bleed into their relationship with their mother. Scorn will do ANYTHING, without question, to prove they are worthy of being seen, heard. Surely this disposition to their name is only pushed further by the abandonment of their father.. Only time will tell, though.

Name: Burnetkit
Family Dynamic: A goofball through and through, Burnetkit thinks his family is the bees knees! They are a tad.. rambunctious, though. Often he'll wrestle too rough, or accidentally hurt those around him being so excitable. He seems to lack spacial awareness, and it truly effects his relationship with those closest. Surely he's hit his siblings more than once flailing with his claws out because he simply wasn't paying attention. More often than not, this ends in him trying to cuddle them as an apology, even if they are best left to their own.
Despite how crazy excited he can get, he's a learner at heart. He wants to do better, to be shown the right way, and to keep his family safe. He trusts his mother and father more than any cat to ever exist, and comes to them for advice all the time. The only issue is.. REMEMBERING the advice they gave him.. like.. don't try and bite your siblings when you get excited about a shrew. He just hopes they have patience with him, and that his love never runs low.

Name: Fallen
Family Dynamic: Fallen has taken the role of protector, in their mind at least. They don't quite understand what's all that wrong about their life, and the danger within it. It's all they've known, after all, how should Fallen know it could be different? All they know, is that they have to be like dad, and dad would want them to keep the others safe. They have little regard for how the other kits feel on this, bigger or smaller, stronger, stubborn. It doesn't matter to them, they'll stand in front of the others and face a storm to do what their mother never could, stay, and protect. Their father is their biggest role model, even if they wouldn't call it.. familial bonding. They love him, but it is more respect than care. They analyze him, his movements, his voice, and mimic it. Obviously, their siblings mean the world to Fallen. They can't imagine pain coming to them, and the thought itself makes them choke. They can't lose more family, this is all they HAVE.. maybe that's why they're so stupidly protective, whether the others need it or not.

Their mother is a sore subject, one not even they touch on. They refuse to touch that emotional pool in their stomach, sitting, waiting.. if Fallen ignores it, it will leave.. When they're alone, though, sometimes they feel.. lost, missing. They wonder if their mother HAD lived, maybe they wouldn't have felt such a violent need to fill the role of secondary parent themselves. They jump between crying, to being made at their mother for being a reason they must cry, then crying again because it isn't like their mother chose to die. Fallen wants a relationship with their mom.. but how do you do that with a dead cat.
