Goldenleaf is a strong she-cat with a mind of her own. She doesn't believe in just following those around her for the sake of it. One must earn her admiration and respect, although once you have it you'll find it difficult to disappoint her. Goldenleaf never gives up on her morals and views; she'd rather be outcasted for something she believes in than suffer knowing she never stood up for herself. In this regard, she can be difficult, but she's also rewarding to get to know. Goldenleaf is passionate, loyal, and takes her friendships seriously. If you've won her over she'll do what it takes to ensure your safety and sanity.
She particularly loves fish, although her experience with MountainClan's earlier days has led her to not partake in treats much. You never know when you'll have or be hurting for food.

Born in a litter of three and the only surviving kit, Goldenkit learned to watch her own back when young. She was fairly eager to begin training and would observe those at work closely, often sneaking from her mother's side just to stalk after a cat hunting. Her father died during a patrol and her mother attempted to coddle her, but Goldenkit very much despised the attempt. By that point, she was keenly aware her clan was struggling and she'd get nowhere relying on others.

As Goldenpaw, she was given a mentor who could keep up with her more energetic and curious nature. She was trained fairly coldly and aggressively, although that's exactly what she wanted. She worked hard, intent on proving she could be of use to her clan and, hopefully, aid in its rebuilding. Later in her apprentice days, her mentor retired to become a queen and Goldenpaw found herself faced with unreasonable anger at the idea. How could someone turn their back on what the clan needed the most to have children? More mouths to feed?
She swore she'd never do the same.

「◇ ◇ — Adult History - Goldenleaf」
Finally, she became Goldenleaf (named after her light steps). Goldenleaf set out to tirelessly work at her duties and, for a long time, was very successful. Until the famine, that is. When the clan was hit with even worse times than her youth she dedicated herself entirely to her clan, bottling all of her stress under a stern expression and a put-together facade. It worked, for a time, until Goldenleaf found herself slowly snapping at the edges. When Bloodoath, a local member of the clan, set out to seduce her she accepted, hoping to widdle away at that stress with a few night's reprieve.
What she hadn't expected was to end up pregnant. Furious and disappointed in herself, she started her pregnancy with a simmering rage in her stomach. How could she? More mouths? During a famine? Unable to forgive herself, Goldenleaf worked until the last day of her pregnancy, refusing any offers for her to become a queen. She grew closer to Lilacmoon in the process, who also had fallen pregnant due to a night spent with Bloodoath.
Bloodoath and Goldenleaf ended up not getting along and Goldenleaf gave birth alone. Her litter was fairly large, adding to the guilt she felt. While she loved her children deep down, Goldenleaf struggled not to view them as a hindrance to herself and the clan. Lilacmoon ended up being the shoulder she leaned on, and once her close friend also gave birth around the same week Goldenlef did the two began raising their children together.
Relieved to have support, Goldenleaf still worked tirelessly, but now she could view her children with softer eyes. She raised them with a firm paw and loving heart, also helping raise Lilacmoon's brood. The two fell in love during their children's growth and officially became partners not long after their kits became apprentices.
MountainClan awoke one day to a prophecy and omen delivered to the leader (Sunseer) and medicine cat (Littleflower). A decision had to be made; who would stay in the dying mountains and who would join the rest and find safer land? Goldenleaf chose to leave the mountains with a group of MountainClan cats, hoping to find a new home for everyone to claim as their own.
The traveling group would eventually break into three new clans, and Goldenleaf joined StoneClan with her mate.

Dependable, eager, and quick to learn, Littleflower fits her role within her clan fairly well. Medicine has always been an interest for her, even as a child, and it’s a passion she clings to. Healing those around her is both a selfless and selfish task, although she’s reluctant to admit the negative. Seeing those she lives with and loves recovering from various traumas and ailments makes her feel beneficial to others -- she’s able to do something and earn her place within the clan, and at times that’s enough.
At other times, it’s not. Littleflower suffers from generalized anxiety that ranges from moderate to severe depending on a variety of factors. Her anxiety often talks her down from chasing after anything that may personally benefit her, or give up something she loves if it'll make someone else happier. She sacrifices a lot of her time, energy, and feelings for her duties. She doesn’t take care of her own needs half the time. The clan, in her eyes, is more important. She doesn’t take breaks often nor does she take time to actually experience the joy of other cats. Spending time together is done within the medicine-cat den, and 98% of the time is purely professional. It’s not that she doesn’t want to get to know her clanmates -- she just doesn't know how to be vulnerable at a time where she needs to be strong.
As a result, Littlepaw does not often emotionally connect with others. She keeps things under a smile and eager demeanor and buries anything else in a cheery voice. Littleflower doesn’t want to be the burden, so she’ll do anything she can to remain an easy cat to deal with and seemingly put together.

Littlekit's birth was not a happy one. Her mother and siblings did not survive the birth, leaving Sunseer, her father, with just one small kit. She was cared for by multiple queens and remained eternally curious about the world outside the dens, often trying to climb her way out when backs were turned. She found a deep frustration in those who viewed her story as a tragic one, both because she knew no other type of life and she hated how gently everyone treated her

She became a paw and was not immediately given a mentor. Littlepaw watched her clan drop like flies as the great famine swept over the mountains, pushing her to beg and demand anyone to train her. She wanted to help! That simmering unease turned into a need for action, prompting her to begin cleaning out the deceased medicine cat's den in hopes she could make sense of what was left behind and help.
She spent days in and out of the medicine den, first to clean and later to study. It was hard on her own, but Littlepaw knew she'd either figure it out as the olden cats once had or fall like the rest of her clan -- it was just a race to see which happened first.
Her efforts eventually led to Dovetail, the previous medicine cat who had died prior to her birth, visiting her and bestowing her mentorship to Littlepaw. While not unheard of, a SunClan cat mentoring a living cat was a rare phenomenon; no one dared to deny her apprenticeship for medicine cat.
Drastic times accelerated the clan's need for a medicine cat, forcing Littlepaw to become the official medicine cat earlier than normal.

「◇ ◇ — Adult History - Littleflower」
Now Littleflower, she turned to her duties diligently and obediently. Dovetail stopped appearing shortly after, truly leaving Littleflower alone in her duties. Uncertain and anxious, the weight of her duties began to swallow Littleflower completely, pushing her to focus on her duties to compensate and, slowly, lost self of who she was without the title of a medicine cat.
Everything came too fast for Littleflower. First her promotion, and then she met Fernkit; a child who not only quickly warmed her heart but also met SunClan in a catnip-hazed dream. He became her apprentice and Littleflower treated the kit as her own. She also met Zoey; a pregnant loner who joined the clan and gave birth shortly after. Littleflower fell in love with Zoey and helped raised Zoey's children, somehow becoming a mother to the serval's children and Fernkit.
Fernkit became Fernpaw and then Fernfire. Zoey and Littleflower's family grew up. Everything was still hard and too much, but Littleflower began to find comfort in the family she was creating.
Until Sunseer called the clan for a meeting and SunClan gave Littleflower an awful omen. The clan was faced with two choices; stay in the mountains or leave. Littleflower chose to leave, while Fernfire decided to stay behind and care for those who couldn't travel.
The traveling clan eventually would split into smaller clans, with Littleflower joining StoneClan to follow her father. Zoey and Littleflower's relationship did not survive the realization that they were going on separate paths and the two broke up amicably. Littleflower offered to help train the newer medicine cats for each new clan so every clan would be adequately prepared. Once done, she settled within StoneClan.
The break from the chaos of life offered Littleflower the chance to get to know other cats, especially the curious and gentle Darkrose. While she was originally blind to Darkrose's affections, she did begin to enjoy the company the she-cat would offer. Darkrose would end up a shoulder to both cry on and lean against, to which Littleflower gratefully returned. Old wounds slowly began to heal for the two and would give room for a soft and warm love. Darkrose and Littleflower committed to one another and Darkrose moved in with her partner.
