「◇ ◇ — Personality」
▹ Loyal once you have his affection
▹ Family-orientated
▹ Judgemental
▹ Aloof
Judgemental, aloof, and deeply sarcastic, Gravedigger is not the easiest cat to get along with. He deeply hates the idea of chattering for absolutely no reason and will happily ghost a cat midsentence if he feels they're wasting his time. He's also particular about how he likes things and is viciously honest, making him quite an unlikeable cat for many. He knows it, too, and doesn't have any desire to fix it.
While he has plenty of unsavory traits, he also is loyal and willing to step forward and help those in danger, even if he will complain the entire time. He does have a softer side to him, but it's guarded by barbed words and a carefully cultivated dislike for others. It doesn't excuse the behavior, no, but Gravedigger is likely trying to protect himself in the end.
Once he's attached to someone he can be overly clingy and possessive, although he tries to keep it under control. He shows his affection in small gifts, being totally willing to do anything for that specific cat, and telling them spooky stories he's collected over the years. He's an avid fan of the macabre and things that bump in the night and will light up in excitement when such subjects are broached.
His family means everything to him. He never expected to find someone who could put up with him, nor did he believe he'd have kids, and now that he does he will protect them with his life. They also get a far softer side from him, that borderlines nerdy when he's excited.

「◇ ◇ — Kit History - Gravedigger」
Gravedigger doesn't remember much of his past -- he was a kitten born to a wandering mother who didn't want him but couldn't bear the idea of leaving her only child behind to die in the dense wilderness and stuck around long enough for him to grow into a teen before vanishing abruptly.

「◇ ◇ — Paw History - Gravedigger」
He managed on his own just fine, although he began to develop a deep dislike for other cats due to his abandonment.

「◇ ◇ — Adult History - Gravedigger」
During his travels he found himself stumbling upon a kittypet named Snowball. She was... well, it was safe to say he was entirely and utterly enamored the day he met her, and would continue to be forever after. He visited her plenty, drawn to her softer and loving nature and basking in it whenever he could. This would ultimately lead to a small litter of three, although one kitten, Whisper, would die shortly after birth. He begged Snowball to let him name one of the kits something edgy, which she was kind enough to grant him, resulting in one kit named Souleater (who also enjoyed ignoring the name the humans gave him, like his father). Jack Frost, the third kitten, would be spared an edgy name.
Left with a decision to make, Gravedigger decided to relinquish his loner title and accept her human's attempts to house him. He'd remain an indoor-outdoor cat, thankfully, but Gravedigger was mostly content lounging in the backyard beside his mate. As long as she was with him he would find happiness anywhere.

「◇ ◇ — Personality」
▹ Loyal to family
▹ Takes charge
▹ Manipulative
▹ Always thinks she's right
Fox is not an easy or kind cat to get along with. She is domineering, manipulative, and downright cruel when she wants to be (which is often). She has no qualms about enacting violence to get what she wants and when she wants it and will quickly turn on those she feels endanger her or her family. Fox likes keeping others on their toes, keeping multiple personas at her disposal depending on who she's encountering at any given moment.
Those within her family or mafia (which she considers as close to family as one can get) are given a duller edge. While she still challenges others if they overstep their bounds, Fox will and does protect her own. While she struggles with gestures or expressions of affection, she makes it clear where her loyalties lie. If you're good to her and return the same sentiment, you'll maintain a positive relationship with her, although that doesn't exclude a cat from her judgment of any "poor decisions" made along the way.
She's very much a leader instead of a follower. Fox is most comfortable when she has someone to order around, especially if they're someone of power. She's competitive and enjoys exerting her will and force, rarely backing down from a fight and often starting them. It's even better when someone puts up a fight before eventually succumbing to her.

「◇ ◇ — Kit History - Fox」
Fox came from a large litter from parents who really didn't have any business being together. Her mother was a loner with a fierce tongue and her father was a kittypet who, unfortunately, fell for the wrong cat. She not only managed to isolate him from his humans but also drained him of any semblance of free will, making it even worse when she abruptly took the kids and fled one cold night. Fox never saw her father again after that instance, but she assumes he eventually died from a broken heart from the stories her mother had told.
Her mother pit her siblings against one another regularly, training the kittens young and further pushing them to rely only on themselves, often abandoning the kits in times of need to see who could make it back to her in one piece.

「◇ ◇ — Paw History - Fox」
After enough of her mother's ditch efforts, Fox eventually just didn't return home. Once a junior Fox set out on her own, feeling no true attachment to her mother in the end. She wandered for a time, starting fights and chaos wherever she went in search of something to do. This wandering led her into a dense forest she'd eventually call home for a brief time.

「◇ ◇ — Adult History - Fox」
As an adult she began to truly dominate her territory, chasing out other loners and extending her domain over the next few months. It didn't truly feel like home, however, but it was a start. During these endeavors, she met Milo, who she immediately attacked at first sight. While he was bigger and no doubt stronger, Milo either allowed her to win the first fight or lost the upper hand. Either way, something about Milo really interested Fox -- he was useful, strong, big, and not the worst.... maybe he could be useful?
So, Milo stuck around.
Fox enjoyed barking orders at her new companion and the two settled within the forest nicely. It still didn't feel like home, which would lead to further discussions about someday moving and finding a new place of their own, but that talk would pause as Fox fell pregnant. It was clear at that point Milo was a little something more than just a lackey. By the time the kittens came, Fox and Milo were mates.
Being a mother was a new experience for Fox, and while she wasn't as directly cruel as her own had been, she also wasn't the softest. Viper, Vixen, and Marten were trained relentlessly -- there was absolutely zero way she'd have weak children. They were taught to value their family and themselves first above all others. She quite enjoyed parenting, actually, and was just a little morose when her litter reached adulthood.
She offered her kids to stay in the forest with her and Milo, but now the topic of where exactly they should call home came up again. Was it time to move? After enough late-night ponderings, Milo and Fox decided to move to a nearby set of abandoned warehouses they had gone fond of for hunting.
