Mothwing is a dedicated and loyal cat who knows exactly what he wants in life, and that's his family. Once he's given his heart to someone or something he will continue to give his all, whether or not he's wanted or later disposed of. He is fiercely protective and supportive of those he's close to, to the point this normally kind and calm male will use his claws if he must. He can be a morally grey character when it comes to his family, always willing to turn his back on others or make hard decisions if it benefits his mate or kids. It'll be hard, of course -- he's not a bad cat, but he'll do what he must.
Mothwing can be incredibly petty and judgemental towards those who have harmed his family, holding grudges eternally. He's a true mean girl if you manage to cross that line, and he's not sorry for it.

He grew up with his family without much incident, living a safe but boring life. Moth began wondering what else was out there, but he was content (for the time) to stay by the side of his family.

「◇ ◇ — Adult History - Mothwing」
As an adult, he met Deadeye while on the edge of MountainClan territory. From the very moment he laid eyes on her he was smitten. He couldn't help it! She was just... perfect. Moth and Deadeye visited one another plenty, and through these meetings, he slowly learned of her home. He genuinely found little interest in clan life -- it seemed so... dangerous, but not only that he also found an issue with the name the clan had given Deadeye. Deadeye? Really? But she loved her home and he began to love her, so when he confessed his feelings and she hesitated due to him being a loner he impulsively made the only decision he could; he joined MountainClan.
Moth became Mothwing and he stuck like glue to his new mate. This quickly led to kittens; Palekit and Petalkit. Delighted with his rapidly growing family despite the quickly worsening famine, Mothwing embraced fatherhood with excitement. He had a loving wife and beautiful children; life was good! His kits avoided the worst of the famine and grew graciously into paws.
Then, the prophecy happened. The clan had to make a choice; who would stay in the mountains and who would leave? Littleflower, their medicine cat, spoke of great struggles for those who stayed, so when Palepaw insisted on remaining in the mountains and Deadeye crumbled under the impending danger their daughter would face, he quickly stepped forward and begged his daughter to come with him. Begging turned into demanding, and finally into guilting, and Palepaw, unable to face the fact her decision was destroying her mother, relented and joined the group leaving the mountains.
This began the first crack in the family.
During the travel, Palepaw distanced herself considerably from her parents and sister. Mothwing struggled with the fact he had crushed his daughter but also saved his mate from a heartbreak he knew she couldn't recover from. Could he keep his family together?
The answer was a devastating no, as Palepaw vanished into the night. He assumed his daughter was returning to MountainClan, but he found his attention drawn back to Petalpaw and Deadeye. Deadeye, sick of the current clan way, would step forward and create her own clan and name it LostClan while taking the new name of Lostsun. It was, without a doubt, a given Mothwing would join her side, and he readily accepted the position of deputy.

Known for his normally stoic expression, dedication to his clan, and a deep grumbling voice, Tigersun finds that most cats view him as strong and unmovable. While he's glad he presents that image for his clan, Tigersun also finds himself worrying relentlessly if he's doing enough. He won't discuss it with others and often pushes himself to ignore the feeling when it surfaces, but it isn't enough to silence the nagging in the back of his head. This pushes him into action and, sometimes, overaction. It's rare to see the cat not working, and when he is forced to rest he exudes anxious energy until he can return to his duties.
He pushes himself to and past his limits, thoroughly representing the "I can rest when I'm dead" motto he wears on him like a badge. Due to his tunnel vision for his duties, Tigersun can sometimes begin to lose sight of his personal life and relations. It isn't intentional, of course, and once he remembers or is reminded he will rush to make amends, but it does mean befriending or loving Tigersun either comes with a ton of patience or frustration. It doesn't help he also is a deadpan and direct cat and often misses subtle cues other cats might give. It's best to be direct as possible with him-- he wants to make others happy, but he can't play subtle mind games and, frankly, he doesn't want to. Just tell him what you want or when you're upset!
Tigersun is a vicious force to be reckoned with when it comes to combat or protection-- that stoic exterior won't leave his face, but Tigersun is not against using force if it's needed, and he typically uses as much of it as possible to eliminate the problem.

Born into MountainClan as a single kit to a starving mother, he was raised by other queens due to his mom dying during childbirth. Tigerkit took this especially hard when he found out, blaming himself and promising to make something of himself for his deceased mother. He had a hard time connecting with other kits and found himself bitterly alone. To cope, he turned that feeling into action, often trying to sneak out of the nursing dens and be useful.

As Tigerpaw he worked hard and diligently, often rejecting attempts for friendships in favor of his duties. There was no time for him to be a child in his eyes. The famine was harsh and Tigerpaw was not oblivious; if the clan was to survive they'd need every paw to work hard and become warriors as soon as possible.

Once he earned his name and became Tigersnarl he truly began grinding the dirt, working harder than ever to provide for his clan. When the prophecy came and he was faced with the choice of staying in the old lands or finding a new home he chose to stay.
The clan would need a new leader now that Sunseer had left MountainClan, which meant the remaining cats would have to hold an election. Tigersnarl had immediately offered himself as tribute, both believing he truly was born for the task and that his dedication had proven itself tirelessly. He won the election and swiftly promoted Damsonflower to deputy. His name would shortly later change to Tigersun.
He opened the clan to loners, eager to start growing their dwindling numbers. One of those new faces was Fawn, who became Fawndance upon joining. Oblivious to her quite aggressive flirtations, Tigersun was struck near speechless when she questioned if he was stringing her along. Confused by the accusation, Tigersun realized he had never, not even once, considered what his own life should look like. Did he want a mate? Kids? Hell, friends? He had always been striving to help a dying clan, and now that the drought was seemingly letting up he, possibly, had the chance to consider a future. This pondering would lead him to apologize to Fawndance for his oblivious eye to her affections and admit he had no clue how romance felt to him, or if he even had that capability, but he'd like to see. The two began going out on dates once every five days, with the understanding that Tigersun had no clue what he was doing.
