Full of boundless energy and no desire to conform to what others expect or want from her, Lynxstrike is very much her own cat. She can be sassy, curious, and fiercely independent, even though she does care deeply for her family and friends. While she doesn't need others and does vastly prefer moving to her own beat, Lynxstrike will stick her neck out for those she's close to.-- she is just likely to stay put after.
Lynxstrike does have a temper to her that she tries to keep under wraps, but it especially flairs when others make assumptions about her. She greatly enjoys being an enigma to other cats and cherishes her individuality. She can be competitive and likes to challenge others' views of her, which does get her into trouble frequently.

Lynxkit was born due to a fling but had plenty of love, both from her mother Zoey and her adoptive mother, Littleflower. She grew up in MountainClan and often tried to leave the den far too early for her age, growing especially frustrated when she was told that there were rules behind when a kit could begin exploring the great beyond.

As Lynxpaw she absolutely loved her duties, especially hunting. Due to the famine, the clan needed more hunting parties than before, which was perfect for an understimulated Lynxpaw. It never was enough -- she needed more and more to do. Her legs never felt stretched enough and her energy never depleted, leaving her a chaotic blur of motion each and every day. She wanted more, but there wasn't much to offer during the trying times the clan faced. There was only so much prey to be caught, no enemies to face, and limited territory to explore.
It wasn't enough.

So, when the clan was faced with a life-changing decision between staying in the famine-struck territory or finding a new home, well, it was fairly easy to make her decision. Of course, she'd join the group exploring the beyond!
The traveling group eventually split into three clans, but Lynxstrike wasn't satisfied with the options. Once her mothers broke up she also found herself unsure why'd she'd even stick around if everyone was splitting up, anyway. She decided to set out on her own as a loner and left clan life.

Unlikely to make the first move and expose herself, Coyote often prefers to watch others for quite some time before making her presence known. She's neither shy nor uncomfortable with others, but she enjoys peace and quiet. She's used to being on her own, having left home and her family the moment she became an adult in search of... well, anything else to make life seem worth it. She is the type to remain quiet long enough for others to begin rambling and is prone to staring owlishly as she analyzes other cats and categorizes them in the back of her head. She doesn't do or say anything without being entirely sure, even if it means creating a long and awkward silence (for them, never her).
She's quiet on her feet and is prone to appearing and disappearing without a sound or trace. This adds to her mysterious nature, although she'll laugh if you mention it. She has a dry humor and an interest in the paranormal and spooky, often unintentionally unsettling other cats. If you connect with her, however, you'll have a close companion for life, although she still enjoys her alone time and will wander off when your back is turned, only to visit later in the night.
