Coy, curious, and great at persuasion, Viper is often looking for a way to get on top. They're great at looking out for their own interests and often carry a different persona depending on who they are interacting with. Unlike their parents, Viper likes to unarm other cats by coming off as sweet, friendly, or generally likable until just the right moment. Despite this, they still have a vicious streak that manifests into a deep and violent vendetta when exposed to bigots of any sort. It can be alarming to see the normally mercurial cat switch into a malicious force to be reckoned with, but they've always said that someone has to shut those mouths, and they're happy to be the one to do it. It's evolved slowly into a goal of theirs to proudly live their life and make those who have a problem with it suffer as they prosper. ​

Viper's real personality likes to tease others and analyze their reactions. They find other cats absolutely fascinating, especially those from clans. How do they stand being told what to do constantly? What is their hierarchy? Why do they follow a random old coot half the time? It's all so weird and makes zero sense to them, but it's a funny show to watch from a distance. ​

Born to Fox and Milo in a small litter, Viper was taught to defend themselves through any means necessary from a young age. They had a fairly rough childhood that mainly was spent training, although they were never made to wonder if their family loved them or not. It just... was different than other families might be. ​

Shortly after becoming an adult, their family relocated into a series of abandoned warehouses. Their mother focused on claiming territory and Viper aided her from time to time, but for the most part Viper focused on gaining information about the local cats. It was during these excursions they met Blizzard and Shadow. Blizzard became their friend, and while they had yet to introduce her to their family due to uncertainty of how their family might react to an outsider not affiliated with the newly budding mafia their mother was making, Viper spent much of their time with her by their side. For once, they enjoyed the company of another.​

Shadow, meanwhile, was an interesting cat to siphon information out of and exchange tales with. When she admitted her eventual interest in having an heir it dawned on Viper that they could kill two birds with one stone; they could help provide her an heir and bring back a new member to the mafia. Viper agreed to assist her, which resulted in three kittens: name, name, and name. ​
