Oz and Iggy the torchic had come outside to train on this beautiful morning. They were up early, and already had breakfast. Oz decided to start off easy with Iggy, and gradually build up his stamina. They would start with things like jogging and squats. Then move on to more specialized training to see if Ignis could learn to breath fire or use ice type moves. According to the pokedex entry he should be able to. Oz had read over it multiples times and tried to decide the best way to go about training to learn these new moves. It would definitely take a lot of practice. As Oz jogged alongside torchic, he kept up the positive comments and cheered Iggy on.
He had water with him. And he had packed a lunch for later. And he had brought along the first aid kit. Hopefully they wouldn't need it though. So far things were looking good. Iggy was doing a great job!

Oz and Iggy were both doing their best. And it was paying off. They had settled in the meadow where they were training. Iggy was practicing his breathing when he decided it was time. "You're gonna try again?" Oz asked.
The small bird nodded, and puffed out it's feathers. Oz grinned. "Okay, sounds alright by me!" he replied happily, punching excitedly at the air. He was glad to see Iggy so eager to train. With that, Ignis opened his tiny beak and spread his little feathers and let out a loud squawk before a small fireball erupted and fired across the grass.
Oz nearly fell over in surprise. "You did it! You learned ember!" He danced around the field, scooping up the torchic and hugging him tight. With all his happy exclamations and moving around, anyone else watching might have wondered what on earth was going on over there. Iggy chirped happily though, seemingly unperturbed by all Oz's dancing.
