Task 2(Written): My favorite thing about the winter season has got to be skiing, more specifically when you're all alone on the mountain, racing down with nothing except the sound of the snow and your voice. There's nothing more peaceful.

Task 3 (Write) : Fondant Fantasy held a cup of tea in her hooves, staring out of her penthouse apartment. She'd been drinking the hot caffeinated drink all throughout the night, so that she wouldn't miss the rising of the sun on the new year. She didn't ask her wife to join her for this ritual - her hardworking missus shouldn't be put out just for one silly sunrise. Still, Fondant enjoyed waiting for the sun to rise. It was her moment of reflection on the year previous.
As light finally began to crest over the horizon, she stood and walked closer to the floor to ceiling window, her bright blue magic encasing her tea cup as it floated gracefully behind her. She watched the sun rise, squinting a touch, until the valley was lit with warmth from the dawn. She brought the cup to her lips and then turned around. There was work to be done - she'd make breakfast for Demaris and they could discuss their plans for the new year. Fondant smiled for she was certain there would be many and she could hardly wait to begin.

Task 5 (Write) :
Rosa Latte couldn't be more proud of herself, she'd worked so hard to build a herd with Cupcake and in just the past year, The Bakers Dozen had become officially recognized. Not just as a community project, but as a herd proper. She was admittedly a little nervous, when her brother joined the Sweet Seekers - a herd that sounded so similar to hers initially, but it turned out her nerves were unfounded. Sprinkles' herd was more recipe based, while the Bakers Dozen revolved around bringing ponies together through a love of baking. They could co-exist together happily and Rosa was relieved to see that for the time being, that was exactly what happened.
Now that they were official, Rosa felt like she could do anything with enough work. She had so many hopes and dreams for the herd - it was just a matter of getting them started.

Task 1
My resolution for 2022 is to be healthier for my own good. I need to do things to preserve my organs and prevent more blood clots so exercising is at the top of that list. My goals are to exercise everyday after work, even if I'd rather go lie down. I need to cut down fast food to once a week until I can go cold turkey and I really need to stop drinking soda everyday. The only way to fight an addiction is to cut off your access to it so another goal is not to buy sodas at the grocery store and if I order food get something besides coke.. like tea maybe? I've been telling myself for awhile now .. ill do better next week.. next month.. next year but once I let myself slip once I fall back into bad habits. So perhaps writing this for other people to see will hold me accountable.- 139

Task 2
One of my favorite things about winter is snow. We live in a valley so we tend not to get large snow storm but we get a couple inches and thats more than enough to make tiny snowmen to sit somewhere they probably shouldn't be. I have been known to build them and set them all over the place outside like on the back of my dads pick up truck or the patio chairs. The fun part however is finding small things to replicate their large counterparts.. ribbon scarves.. bottle cap hat.. a carrot colored rock for a nose. I've only made a real sized snow person maybe once or twice in all my years. I still don't know how people roll snow like you always see on every cartoon ever.. does snow even really do that?

Task 8: venue for a party:
Well so I've always been really into snow and cold stuff. So my ideal party is someplace with snow, trees and mountains all around. With a cleared out spot for people who want to go outside, but also a wonderful area inside. Inside would have a giant skylight that's heated just enough to keep the snow melted off it so when it's dark you just see the stars when it's a clear sky. The walls are covered in blue curtains of all shade with white ones mixed in, hanging from the ceiling with hanging wall lights behind them to give the idea that stars are all around you. Wonderful Food line one wall and music plays from all over. There's a door to go outside where the covered area is to enjoy the sights. Inside is warmed and scented to smell like your out side. Fake trees and plants are all around the walls with lights strung off them. The lights shift around in different colors like the northern lights, from red to green to pinks and purples. Everything designed to make you feel like your outside in the beautiful snow covered world buy not actually outside unless you go to the outside area.

Task 3
Cherry Blossom has always had a love hate relationship with fireworks.. and crowds. She loved to talk to people and the pretty lights exploding in the sky but she wasn't found of loud sounds or being surrounded on all sides by people. Tonight was special though because it was the fireworks show that ushered in the new year; it was also being hosted in her favorite park so that was equally as special. The surrounding area had appropriately dampened so no stray embers could spark a wild fire. The water works were almost like a pre-show for the main event soon to come. While most other ponies had set up as close to the action as possible Cherry had set herself up on a spread out quilt near the back of the field. She still had an excellent view of the sky which is all she really wanted. The mall would be closed tomorrow so she didn't need to worry about tending to her balloon booth. She was ready to wait out midnight. From her spot she could see drove of other ponies running around the park or sitting on blankets much like her own. It would seem on New Years nobody had a bedtime.. they would surely all be sleeping in tomorrow.
After some announcements from the events host midnight drew near and she slipped on her noise canceling headphones. The countdown started on the large neon sign in front 10...9...8..--- 3..2..1! At the final number the sky lit up with an explosion of fireworks one of which spelled out 2022 in blue and white sparks. Happy New Year!!! While Cherry could still feel the vibrations, the thunderous cracks were muffled and she was happy. Though few would actually remember the fireworks show after they left in the moment it was quite spectacular.

Sprinkles stood looking up in awe. This had been a long time in the making. Many years of savings.. and donations..Many years of hosting small baking classes and storing binders of lose paper in her guest bedroom. Finally it was here, Sweet Seekers had a physical place to operate from that wasn't just the various homes of its members. Sprinkles had procured this abandoned warehouse awhile ago and had slowly been refurbishing it. Now it all was finally done and it was a dream come true! This place had everything including a bakery tacked onto it so they wouldn't have to struggle for funding anymore. They could take all these recipes they had scoured Everchange for and bring them to the people! Sprinkles was so excited she could explode into ...well..sprinkles!! Most of the current members were already inside making themselves at home in the new facility but Sprinkles was getting ready to host the biggest welcome party this town had ever seen. She needed to make a phone call to Party Pop. New members would be coming and Sprinkles was ready to celebrate!

Task 6: menu for NYEar party
Appetizers: soft pretzels and dips. Chips with home made spinach and artichoke dip. Small mini cupcakes with sprinkles and new years edible numbers on top, in different flavors and frosting. Veggies tray and fruit trays. Toasted sourdough slices with garlic mayo and steak slices on top with a little garnish of goat cheese.
First dish: soup tomato bisque, made with loads of veggies and garlic that get blended up into a nice creamy soup. Drizzle with a nice creamy sauce for touch.
Main dish: honey roasted duck with asparagus and baby red mash potatoes. Skin on, cooked crispy with a honey sauce. Sliced and atop a drizzle of more sauce. For those who don't want meat there's honey glazed eggplant with baby red mashed potatoes. Bread is available in all forms of toast or rolls.
Drinks and dessert: fun fizzy alchohol and Virginia drinks available. Pink grapefruit juice with vodka, sprite and frozen cranberries. White grape peach juice with sprite and vodka. Malibu and gingerale with frozen fruit as ice cubes. Warm hot chocolate available with flavored Bailey's or rumchata to spike it, toasted marshmallow garnish. Cakes, pies, cupcakes and brownies available. Brownie cheese cakes with chocolate and caramel drizzled and optional fruit. Three layer cakes, one chocolate, one vanilla and one funfetty, decorated in different colored frosting of fun party colors, sprinkles and edible flowers.
