Spotted Luck tries to hop across the rocks

Knowing full well that time could be of the essence here. Who knew what horrible thing could be happening to the rabbits who had went north. So Spotted Luck, chanced it and tried to hop across the rocks hoping to make some time, and not fall in.

Sage tries to hop across the rocks

Sage didn't see the sense in taking the long way around when the rocks seemed safe enough. He felt himself more than capable of handling crossing. He also knew the sooner they reached the other group, the better. While his time as a captive hadn't been horrible, it wasn't the most pleasant thing either.

Snake participates in the harvest

Snake wasn't interested in the visitor. He had work to do for himself and he doubted whatever this guy had to say would be worth stopping for.

Poor Junie has fallen in! Roll 1d20 to see if she helps or hinders the rescue efforts ...

After a few moments of waiting, Thornapple hopped across the stones. Some were slick and a little treacherous, but eventually he made it to the other side. He turned just in time to see Junie plunge right off a particularly slippery rock and hit the water. He gasped. "We have to save her!" But how? Could they even manage to haul her out of the water from the rocks?

If your rabbit did not submit an answer last round they are assumed to have made is across the water.

The harvest was well in hand, but some rabbits noticed a very insistent dwarf who seemed to really want to speak with all of the harvesters. For those that wandered over, the dwarf had a clear message: the swamp was being invaded! They needed to prepare for action, or risk an end to their way of life.

Snake has managed to harvest so many apples he gets to keep an extra nice one for himself!

Flail!

Junie sailed through the air bravely and slipped right across the slick rock and straight into the water, all in one amazing movement. It was deep enough she went under a moment then her sopping muzzle bobbed back above water. Then her face and paws were out, splashing around. She was not scared and didn't have time to be embarrassed just yet. She just wanted to get out!

"AHH!" She cried. "That's cold!" She flailed at the edge of the rock trying to get back up but it was so slick with swamp! She scratched around the edge of the rock attempting to hoist herself out.

going back to the apples XD

Bolete flicked her ears, politely sitting and listening to the visitor. He spoke of an invasion. He definitely seemed adamant. He told them their way of life itself was at risk. The doe blinked, her expression did not change. Clearly this one was one of those end times ranters. She had met one before. In fact, she was quite glad that the ranting blind kook had been kicked out of their peaceful swamp. Ok that was enough of a break, back to apple harvesting, she told herself, leaving the crazy rabbit to his story.

Carnivore tries help from the rocks

Carnivore followed the group across the stones, because honestly she didn't feel like walking so far around the entire pond. Too much energy. But of course, some rabbits had to be terribly dramatic.

She narrowed her eyes as a doe fell into the water, splashing her as a result. "Oh, come on." But the others seemed concerned and so she had to put on a pretty-ish face. She reached out to the doe, eyes mockingly wide. "Come on princess, grab my hand before you drown!" Her words dripped with fake concern.

Xialien goes to listen

Honestly, harvesting was a lot of work and Xialien was a little thankful for the interruption. Many of the other rabbits seemed to pay the guy no mind, but he hopped over to listen to his crazy talk.

"What makes you think that someone is invading? Why isn't anyone else aware of these invaders?" Surely he couldn't expect them to believe that he was the ONLY rabbit around when it happened?

Spotted Luck tries help from the rocks

Hearing a splash caused her to stop in her tacks and turn around just as Junie fell into the water. Carefully moving back she went to help her, but it did not seem like she was the only one. "Hang on" She called out trying to offer a paw of assistance.

Soft Silk participates in the harvest

Continuing to ignore the other, the rabbit continued with his own harvest of the apples. If he did not harvest enough his own way of life could be destroyed this winter, and his own survival was the only thing he had in mind at the moment.

Peachfuzz was quick to react when the other bun fell into the water. She rushed across to the shore to hopefully find a large stick or maybe a better ledge for rescue.

Ladybug's interest was piqued. Despite being a relatively gentle bug, bugs protected their home. So
it was worth a moment of her time.

A harlequin rabbit beat Thornapple to the proverbial punch, and managed to haul Junie out without much fuss. "Oh ... good!" Thornapple's heart beat against his chest. Hard. That had been a near disaster. "Um, I guess we should all be very careful. It can be dangerous in here." Perhaps that warning was coming a little bit late? he still put his best smile, and tried to strike onwards.

"I think we're getting pretty close to where we met a helpful rabbit last time. I wonder if she'd help again ..." He remember the little albino dwarf, who'd led them towards the elders, deep in the swamp. She'd helped once, but would she help again? It was hard to know ... And a diversion to find her would take time ... He turned to the other rabbits, needing their input. "Should we track her down? It might help us find our way through ... But it might take time to find her, too. If she's even in that burrow still."

If your rabbit did not submit an answer last round it's assumed they helped Junie.

The stranger's voice was raising, getting more and more insistent. "It doesn't matter if you believe me or not, they are here, they are invading! There are OUTSIDERS in the swamp!" He glared at any rabbit that dared to question him. "I can lead you there, but only if you promise to help prevent their progress."

Even the rabbits that had been busy harvesting could hear his whole speech now. The stranger looked from rabbit to rabbit, clearly expecting an answer.

If your rabbit did not respond in the last round they are assumed to have participated in the harvest.

Peachfuzz wants to look for the helpful dwarf

In Peachfuzz's mind, they had waited this long for rescue what was a little longer. A little while was nothing compared to hopping around the swamp in circles. She was the first bun to speak up, "Let's find them. I'd rather not get lost." She let out a half-hearted chuckle, hoping to make her comment more light-hearted since Thornapple seemed frazzled.

Ladybug agrees with the stranger

Invaders must be stopped! Ladybug listened intently to the bun's words but most of it went over her antenna. In her little addled mind; she envisioned massive aggressive buns armed to the teeth, falling onto the swamp in droves and hacking at all of the beautiful flora that she and her fellow bugs enjoyed. Oh no, that could not happen! Lady nodded her head fiercely in agreement.

Junie wants to look for the helpful dwarf

Junie was sopping wet and very miserable. And ...very embarrassed to have caused trouble. She apologized and thanked the others in the party profusely and set about pushing water out of her fur the best she could. She did not mind waiting longer to find the helpful dwarf if it would be the wiser choice, she was not good at making wise choices apparently but figured it would be good to get help.
